Point Cloud-Medieval Hermitage of Oreto-Zuqueca

This point cloud of the medieval Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de Oreto-Zuqueca in Granátula de Calatrava (Ciudad Real, Spain) was collected using three FARO Focus3D scanners in 2017. The roof has been purposefully removed from the point cloud. The hermitage sits on one of the most important archaeological sites in Castilla-La Mancha region with occupations in Iberian, Roman, Visigothic and Islamic times. This settlement controlled the passage over the Jabalón River for centuries. The current hermitage was built in the 13th century, some years after the victory of the Christian troops in the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa in 1212. It was built with complete safety on the remains of a previous church. For its construction, a large number of stones from the site that extends under its feet were reused. Among these stones, the reuse of decorated pieces from the Visigothic period that can be seen today on its walls is especially significant. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Medieval Sword- PBR

PBR Medieval Sword I created using 3ds max, zBrush, and Substance painter. Just a little side project for me, I like how it came out. However there is some problems towards the top of the blade, but one could see those as dents in the blade. I will revisit it another time. I just wanted to get it done. I used PBR smart materials in Substance painter to texture this sword, editing properties as I went. Hope you enjoy. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Medieval Font at St Mary's Church, Kinnerley

'The tower was restored in 1862 by the Rev EWO Bridgeman, who also donated the octagonal font now in the church. Mr Bridgeman had discarded the old medieval font, but when it was about to be broken up, it was rescued by the Dovaston family from West Felton. By a stroke of good luck the old font was recovered in 1966 and can now be seen in the churchyard.' https://www.shropshirestar.com/news/2015/07/19/church-spotlight-st-marys-church-in-kinnerley/ "In the CHURCHYARD, W of the porch, a discarded FONT. Difficult to date. The base has a sort of interlace. The now worn rim of the octagonal bowl is inscribed with the Greek palindrome, NIVON ANOMHMA MH MONANOYIN (cleanse my sin, not my face only).' https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=3Zqbit3opjQC&pg=PA318&lpg=PA318&dq=kinnerley+medieval+font&source=bl&ots=R5Z6X4CtXU&sig=ACfU3U0H-DK7A8ZUqPhhvyWm0H1Yu6UT-A&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjBud6B7eb1AhVHa8AKHbd8Dq8Q6AF6BAgjEAM#v=onepage&q=kinnerley%20medieval%20font&f=false Created with Polycam Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Medieval stonework from Tywardreath Priory

The exact location and layout of the Benedictine Priory of Tywardreath remains unknown. However, plenty of pieces of stonework have found their way around the village. These pieces can be found by the south porch of Tywardreath Church. See https://sketchfab.com/models/860ad3e8530749aab00a0cf178cc3b31 for an enhanced version of this data, showing surface detail more closely. Here we have a cross shaft, several column bases, and some decorated pieces. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
