Niños con jarrón de Cibeles en Madrid
Este grupo escultórico, datado en 1770, está relacionado con el existente en la plaza del Emperador Carlos V, pues debieron pertenecer a un mismo proyecto de ornamentación arquitectónica o urbana, posiblemente una puerta o cerramiento. En la actualidad esta relación se ha perdido, aun cuando indican el inicio y final del Paseo del Prado, por el cambio de uso que ha sufrido éste, priorizando el tráfico rápido rodado, la mucha distancia a la que se sitúan los dos grupos escultóricos y suposición lateralizada y semioculta. El monumento está constituido por dos figuras infantiles o querubines en torno a un jarrón, que se convierte en el centro de la composición. <p><strong>Data Origin:</strong> This dataset was generated using information from the Community of Madrid, including traffic data collected by multiple sensors located throughout the city, as well as work calendar and meteorological data, all provided by the Community.</p> <p><strong>Data Type:</strong> The data consists of traffic measurements in Madrid from June 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023. Each record includes information on the date, time, location (longitude and latitude), traffic intensity, and associated road and weather conditions (e.g., whether it is a working day, holiday, information on wind, temperature, precipitation, etc.).</p> <p><strong>Technical Details:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Data Preprocessing:</strong> We utilized advanced techniques for cleaning and normalizing traffic data collected from sensors across Madrid. This included handling outliers and missing values to ensure data quality.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Geospatial Analysis:</strong> We used GeoPandas and OSMnx to map traffic data points onto Madrid's road network. This process involved processing spatial attributes such as street lanes and speed limits to add context to the traffic data.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Meteorological Data Integration:</strong> We incorporated Madrid's weather data, including temperature, precipitation, and wind speed. Understanding the impact of weather conditions on traffic patterns was crucial in this step.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Traffic Data Clustering:</strong> We implemented K-Means clustering to identify patterns in traffic data. This approach facilitated the selection of representative sensors from each cluster, focusing on the most relevant data points.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Calendar Integration:</strong> We combined the traffic data with the work calendar to distinguish between different types of days. This provided insights into traffic variations on working days and holidays.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Comprehensive Analysis Approach:</strong> The analysis was conducted using Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and Shapely. Dataset for prediction of Nitrogen Dioxide in Madrid city
<p>The dataset consists of nitrogen dioxide, meteorological data, and traffic data for the period of January-June 2019 and January-June 2020, which were generated taking into account the spatial distribution of the monitoring stations. Using the ArcGIS Pro software, a grid was created (Top -4,486,449.725263 m; Bottom - 4,466,449.725263 m; Left - 434,215.234430 m; Right - 451,215.234430 m) with a cell size having a width and height equal to 1000 m. There are 340 cells in total (20 by 17). Each cell value includes nitrogen dioxide, meteorological, and traffic attributes from assigned stations at a certain time. The cell value without stations was assigned to zero. The generated grid was exported as Comma Separated Values (CSV) files. Overall, 4344 and 4368 CSV files were generated every hour during the first six months of 2019 and 2020, respectively. Meteorological data include ultraviolet radiation, wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, solar irradiance, and precipitation, traffic data includes intensity, occupation, load, and average speed. The datasets have an hourly rate. The data were obtained from the Open Data portal of the Madrid City Council. There are 24 air quality monitoring stations, 26 meteorological monitoring stations, and more than 4,000 traffic measurement points (the location of the measurement points was provided on a monthly basis as these points changed monthly).</p>
