German Arming Sword
15th C German Oakeshott Collection Catalogue Number: OC007 An excellent example of a type XVIII blade, this weapon would have provided a perfect compromise between effectiveness against armored and unarmored opponents. This piece is particularly notable for the still intact original grip, composed of leather over wood. Originally part of the armory at Schloss Erbach, this weapon now resides in the Oakeshott collection. Muhlbach township coat of arms
A medium quality model (here decimated to 1000k) of the 18th Century coat of arms for the township of Sebes (Muhlbach), Alba County, Romania. Placed on the Old Township hall at the end of major repairs finished in 1765, it mentions the works and the main contributors and officials. The Old Township Hall was demolished in 1880 and now the coat of arms resides in the permanent exhibition of the Ioan Raica Municipal Museum in Sebes. (copyright Muzeul Municipal Ioan Raica Sebes 2017). The model was created from a total of 66 photos obtained using a 28 mm lens, in restricted museum conditions and illumination. <p>Authors:Brian Brown Date:27th November 1981Brief Description:Data were recorded from Rod Smallwoood's arm on the 27th November 1981; the dot matrix image which shows the ulna and radius bones. We made a 'radiotherapy type' mould of the arm and then put drawing pins through the plastic (pin head inwards) as electrodes. There two sets of data. I could only find the print out for one of the data sets. However, I found my notebook with the adjacent drive/receive data set and this is page 7 of the pdf file.</p> <p>I have extracted the adjacent drive/receive data sets for both the Uniform(Saline) and Arm data and these are included in the attached Excel file. The are 6 columns of data in the xls file. The first three are for the uniform case and give the two reciprocal data sets and the mean of the two. Columns 4-6 are for the arm. 15th Century Arming Sword (New Background, V. 2)

We are simply experimenting with different lighting and backgrounds to find the most effective viewing experience! 15th C French Oakeshott Collection Catalogue Number: OC 009 A mid 15th Century example of a Type XVIIIa blade with distinct mid rib and squared shoulders. The pommel is of a unique form: a type of wheel pommel with no similar surviving example as yet identified. This piece is thought to be of Italian make, and is said to have come from a tomb opened in the late 19th C, possibly in France. Iron Hand - Prosthetic Arm
Right hand and forearm of dark [tempered steel](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tempering_(metallurgy)) c. 1575-1625. According to legend the arm of Royal Secretary Olof Sverkersson Elfkarl, in office during the reign of Swedish kings [Johan III](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_III_of_Sweden), [Sigismund](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigismund_III_Vasa) and [Karl IX](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_IX_of_Sweden). Olof Sverkersson was called Olof Turncoat in many parts of the country and in [Finland](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finland) (which was a part of [Sweden](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden) at that time) they called him Olof Perkelson, i.e. Olof Son of the Devil. The arm was included in the [Skokloster](https://goo.gl/Mspd5w) collection in the 1750's when a substantial amount of objects were transferred from Salsta manor, previously owned by the [Bielke](https://goo.gl/F78x9L) family, to Skokloster. Coat of arms Estrada family (Picón, Spain)
Coat of arms of the Estrada family preserved in the center of the small town of Picón (Ciudad Real, Spain). This coat of arms belonged to Luis Alfonso de Estrada, son of Alonso de Estrada (Governor of New Spain), who bought the town of Picón from King Felipe II in 1564. A year later, Luis Alfonso de Estrada ordered the construction of the City Hall building of this town, of which a good part is still preserved. We only know two examples of coats of arms in relief of the Estrada family. The first is located in the church of San Pedro in Ciudad Real and the second is this one, preserved in a building in Picón. To know more about this family: V. M.
