Stone church of kakskerta isle Turku, Finland
Kakskerta Church is located in Turku, Finland on the island Kakskerta. The seaside church is one of the three churches in the Turku Martin parish union. According to legend, the local fishermen got a surprise from the sea with a huge catch of delicious fish. They believed that the area was blessed, and the residents of the island decided to build their own church. Kakskerta Church was built in between 1765 and 1769, and dedicated in 1770. It was designed by Christian Schroder, and is oblong in shape. The altarpiece is from the 17th century, and nearly the whole interior of the church was renovated in 1940 under plans by architect Erik Bryggman. The belfry was designed by C. Bassi in 1824. St. John's Baptist Church, Port of Spain
Originally built in 1854, St. John's (London) Baptist Church was constructed on 6 – 8 Pembroke Street, Port of Spain for the purpose of providing sufficient worship space to the growing Baptist population attending service in its original headquarters – the Church Hall & Office, which still stands today. By the 1880s, St. John's faced similar issues which made its space inadequate for continued worship. In 1882, the church was enlarged and adorned with interior details that still retain their integrity and significance to this day. Today, St. John's (London) Baptist Church continues its original function as a religious facility and programs geared towards youth and community outreach. Arab First Baptist Church
In what we refer to as The Great Commission, Jesus' command is clear. We are called to "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you." To be faithful to God's Word, we must take part in His mission to make disciples. Making disciples is the mission of Christ's church. -- www.arabfbc.org Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
