Se pueden apreciar dos refugios sujetos por seda a las hierbas secas cercanas a su planta nutricia. Fig. 10.- Refugio con oruga en diapausa a final del invierno el 26 de marzo de 2022 en Olleros de Alba. Se aprecia un refugio formado por hojas de rosal y hojas de melojo, estaba adherido al suelo mediante seda.

Se puede apreciar la seda en el exterior del refugio, que la oruga usaba para desplazarse por el rosal y alimentarse. En visitas posteriores a esta localización este refugio no fue encontrado. Se encontraba suelto, apoyado en el foliolo inferior y en una espina.
