Prescription vs Description: An Empirical Approach to the Study of Rhyming Practices and Language Change through the Poetry of the Tang and the Song

<p>This dataset contains the poems of the Quan Tang Shi 全唐詩 and Quan Song Shi 全宋詩, as found in the https://github.com/chinese-poetry/ repository. In addition to their original id/author/title/paragraphs, two extra fields per poem are provided: guangyun_annotation, which indicates the rhyming paragraphs according to the Guangyun (incl. interchangeability 通用 rules), and community_annotation, which indicates the rhyming paragraphs according to an annotator that uses detected rhyme communities to attribute a rhyme judgement.</p>
