An Analysis of MLOps Architectures: A Systematic Mapping Study

<p>This repository contains all the data, scripts, and documents that can assist the readers in replicating our research.</p> <p>The following are included in this replication package:</p> <p>The folder &lsquo;data&rsquo; includes 4 spreadsheet files containing search results (list of initial papers), snowballing results, data extraction, and data synthesis.</p> <p>The &lsquo;documents&rsquo; folder contains the research design of this study. The current submission is only a subset of the designed research. The protocol includes a broader scope seeking to synthesize a comprehensive architecture of state-of-the-art of MLOps systems. The current study however represents the structural view of the architecture, (RQ1) of the protocol.</p> <p>All the scripts that help the interested reader to automate parts of the process can be found in the &lsquo;scripts&rsquo; folder.</p> <p>To replicate the process one may consult the protocol.</p> <p><strong>Please note that the protocol describes the design of a broader study and only the results of RQ1 in the protocol are presented in this submission.</strong></p>

Companion data of a Systematic Mapping Study of Programming Languages for Data-Intensive HPC Applications

<p>As the current existing literature on the topic of HPC is very dispersed, we performed a Systematic Mapping Study (SMS) in the context of the European COST Action cHiPSet. This literature study maps characteristics of various programming languages for data-intensive HPC applications, including category, typical user profiles, effectiveness, and type of articles.</p> <p>We organised the SMS in two phases. In the first phase, relevant articles are identified employing an automated keyword-based search in eight digital libraries. This lead to an initial sample of 420 papers, which was then narrowed down in a second phase by human inspection of article abstracts, titles and keywords to 152 relevant articles published in the period 2006--2018. The analysis of these articles enabled us to identify 26 programming languages referred to in 33 of relevant articles. This document is the data companion for a paper published elsewhere and presents a detailed list of the selected papers. Besides, the document also presents the form&nbsp;of our questionnaire-based survey.&nbsp;</p> <p>We also include the filled in questionnaires and raw data of the referred survey. To validate the SMS results&nbsp;we conducted a survey (in November 2018) with 28 HPC experts involved in the cHiPSet COST action&nbsp;to which we added, in October 2019, 29 HPC experts which were not involved in that COST action. Participants were recruited through convenience sampling, and contacted directly by the authors. In total, we received 57 filled survey forms.</p>

Describing and mapping of the main existing structures and systematic initiatives and academic activities for surveillance in the EU for zoonoses (transboundary, emerging and re-emerging) in domestic animals and wildlife

<p>These annexes refer to a report which describes and maps the main existing structures and systematic initiatives and academic activities for surveillance in the EU for transboundary, emerging and re-emerging zoonoses in domestic animals, wildlife, and the environment, developed by the different sectors, namely human, domestic animal, wildlife and environmental, under One Health approach. This is essential to provide scientific and technical advice and improve future schemes of surveillance. A questionnaire was compiled by MSs and the information collected was complemented by literature reviews about (i) the main existing structures and systematic initiatives or activities, and (ii) academic activities for surveillance in the EU for zoonoses in domestic animals and wildlife. The annexes to the report are as follows:</p> <p>Annex 1. Argument maps as tools to support the development of new media literacies: a systematic review.

<p>The post-digital era is characterized by the vast presence of platforms imposing their digital affordances and algorithmic control on our behavior. This environment is challenging education and training, with implications for digital and transmedial literacy. Investigating instructional methodologies is crucial to foster critical comprehension of such novel informational environments. The argument maps (AM), which were first created and evaluated in static information contexts (analogical/old web), could be useful in the emergence of dynamic (post-digital) textual forms.</p> <p>The current paper describes a comprehensive literature review based on the assumptions above. We looked into state of the art in research on using AM to handle dynamic information. We found 150 papers using a PRISMA procedure and then examined 25 of them. Our review produced pertinent data about the current state of AM, including the sorts of texts on which they are used and the tools (especially digital and AI-based) that have been employed.
