This is a 3D model of an ancient marble statue of Hercules and Omphale in the Museo Archeologico Nazionale, Naples. He holds yarn while she wears his Nemean Lion skin and club. As payment for a murder , Hercules was commanded to sell himself in slavery. He was purchased by Princess Omphale and forced to act as her maid. It was humiliating for the masculne Hercules to be in a submissive role to a woman.
