<p>The purpose of the research that is related to the dataset&nbsp;is to identify the innovative features of the LSPs (Library Service Platforms)&nbsp;that differentiate them from the LMS (Library Management Systems), as well as to evaluate their importance, based on the opinions of the Greek information scientists. The method used is the Delphi 2-round questionnaire. The dataset contains the results of the Delphi method. Each sheet contains the ranking results from a group of 17 experts from two rounds of the DELPHI method.</p>

A versatile microfluidic platform measures hyphal interactions between Fusarium graminearum and Clonostachys rosea in real-time

<p>Routinely, fungal-fungal interactions (FFIs) are studied on agar surfaces. However, this format restricts high-resolution dynamic imaging. To gain experimental access to FFIs at the hyphal level in real-time, we developed a microfluidic platform, a FFI device. This device utilises microchannel geometry to enhance the visibility of hyphal growth and provides control channels to allow comparisons between localised and systemic effects. We demonstrate its function by investigating the FFI between the biological control agent (BCA) <em>Clonostachys rosea </em>and the plant pathogen <em>Fusarium graminearum. </em>Microscope image analyses confirm the inhibitory effect of the necrotrophic BCA and we show that a loss of fluorescence in parasitised hyphae of GFP-tagged <em>F. graminearum </em>coincides with the detection of GFP in mycelium of <em>C. rosea</em>. The versatility of our device to operate under both water-saturated and nutrient-rich as well as dry and nutrient-deficient conditions, coupled with its spatio-temporal output, opens new opportunities to study relationships between fungi.</p>

Robustness of massively parallel sequencing platforms

<p>The improvements in high throughput sequencing technologies (HTS) made clinical sequencing projects such as ClinSeq and Genomics England feasible. Although there are significant improvements in accuracy and reproducibility of HTS based analyses, the usability of these types of data for diagnostic and prognostic applications necessitates a near perfect data generation. To assess the usability of a widely used HTS platform for accurate and reproducible clinical applications in terms of robustness, we generated whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequence data from the genomes of two human individuals in two different genome sequencing centers. After analyzing the data to characterize SNPs and indels using the same tools (BWA, SAMtools, and GATK), we observed significant number of discrepancies in the call sets. As expected, the most of the disagreements between the call sets were found within genomic regions containing common repeats and segmental duplications, albeit only a small fraction of the discordant variants were within the exons and other functionally relevant regions such as promoters. We conclude that although HTS platforms are sufficiently powerful for providing data for first-pass clinical tests, the variant predictions still need to be confirmed using orthogonal methods before using in clinical applications.&nbsp;</p>

Eclipse Platform UI

<p>Bug localization refers to the automated process of locating the potential buggy files for a given bug report. To help developers focus their attention to those files is crucial. Several existing automated approaches for bug localization from a bug report face a key challenge, called lexical mismatch, in which the terms used in bug reports to describe a bug are different from the terms and code tokens used in source files. This paper presents a novel approach that uses deep neural network (DNN) in combination with rVSM, an information retrieval (IR) technique. rVSM collects the feature on the textual similarity between bug reports and source files. DNN is used to learn to relate the terms in bug reports to potentially different code tokens and terms in source files and documentation if they appear frequently enough in the pairs of reports and buggy files. Our empirical evaluation on real-world projects shows that DNN and IR complement well to each other to achieve higher bug localization accuracy than individual models. Importantly, our new model, HyLoc, with a combination of the features built from DNN, rVSM, and project’s bug-fixing history, achieves higher accuracy than the state-of-the-art IR and machine learning techniques. In half of the cases, it is correct with just a single suggested file. Two out of three cases, a correct buggy file is in the list of three suggested files.</p>

EAST-WEST and VERTICAL deformation maps of Alto Tiberina Fault supersite: The Post-Proc service in Geohazard Exploitation Platform applied to Sentinel-1 dataset

<p>In the framework of the ESA funded project “MEMpHIS - Multi Scale and Multi Hazard Mapping Space based Solutions ”, the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) together with TRE-ALTAMIRA, generated the EAST-WEST and VERTICAL deformation maps of Alto Tiberina Fault supersite. The two maps of ground velocity were derived thanks to the adoption of a specific tool named "Post-Proc", implemented in MEMPHIS and with the support of Terradue, that is  able to automatically re-project on the east-west and vertical directions the ascending and descending InSAR time series. In particular, the output refers to the deformation maps calculated by processing with SqueeSAR (TM) method, a large dataset acquired by the ESA Sentinel-1 mission.</p> <p>The Post-Proc tool also calculates the mean accelerations associated to each persistent scatterer in the scenes. Some additional features are also available from this tool:</p> <p>-          Change the coherence threshold for selecting a subset of persistent scatterers</p> <p>-          Activate a geometrical distortion filter to take into account the layover and foreshortening effects</p> <p>-          Change the reference point (position and coherence)</p> <p>-          Choose between two types of accelerations:  2<sup>nd</sup> order model or velocity derivative</p> <p>-          Choose among three different projection: east-west, vertical, and downslope.</p> <p>The present dataset is composed of the EAST-WEST and VERTICAL acceleration maps. The data are in shapefile format: for each record (PS) the topography, velocity, acceleration, and InSAR coherence is reported.</p>

STREAM - Sub-THz Radar sensing of the Environment for future Autonomous Marine platforms: RLG Dataset Coniston A

<p>This dataset contains the files corresponding to which results have been included in the journal paper. The full descirption of conducted trials and data structure is mentioned in the attached pdf document.</p><p>STREAM trials were conducted by the University of Birmingham (UoB) and the University of St. Andrews from 29/08/2022 - 02/09/2022 at Coniston Lake in the UK. The primary aim was to gather propagation data across lakes and measure the returns from the lake surface.
