A gypsum panel from Sennacherib's South West Palace, Room XIV (K) panels 4-6 Nineveh. Dating to 700 - 629 BC. Gypsum wall panel relief: these Assyrian soldiers leading horses to the left, from the same scene as wall panels 1851,0902.17 (BM. 124786) and 1851,0902.21 (BM. 124784), formed part of the train of the Assyrian king, who was probably represented in much the same way as in the Lachish sculptures. Relief dedicated to several Deities
Relief dedicated to several Deities, Piraeus, 420 BC, Marble, Nye Carlsberg Glyptotek (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta. The absence of attributes makes identification of the deities difficult. The donor of the relief is seen in small size on the left. The style and quality is close to the sculptures of the Parthenon in Athens. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Relief of Sol from Corbridge
Relief of the sun god Sol at Corbridge late 2nd-3rd century AD. Probably made by a local craftsman, as it is a mixture of Classical and 'Celtic' styles. Interestingly, there is also a dedication slab found at Corbridge, dated to 162-168 AD that reads: 'To the Invincible Sun-god a detachment of the Sixth Legion Victrix Pia Fidelis set this up under the charge of Sextus Calpurnius Agricola, emperor's propratorian legate'. (https://romaninscriptionsofbritain.org/inscriptions/1137). It would be interetsting to see if there was any connection between the inscription, this relief, and any other artifacts. I would be curious to see the character of the cult at Corbridge (if there was anything formal!) More sources: https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/corbridge-roman-town-hadrians-wall/history-and-stories/history/sources/ 34 photos taken, used Agisoft Photoscan for the model. It sits against a wall, so was not able to get images of the back. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Relief from Ashurnasirpal II's palace, Nimrud
After Assyria fell in 612 BC, the palace became overgrown and eventually completely buried, in which state it remained for nearly 2,500 years until rediscovered by the British born Austen Henry Layard in 1845. Layard oversaw the excavation of the palace during which time the reliefs that dominated the walls of the structure were removed from the site and sent to collections throughout Europe and North America, with the British Museum receiving the majority of these Nimrud reliefs. Despite excavating and removing many of these reliefs, a great number remained within the palace and were eventually reburied with time. In 1949 M.E.L. Mallowan re-excavated the site, which lasted until 1957, at which time the project was taken over by the Iraq Department of Antiques which still remains in control of the site. Created from 334 photographs taken with a Sony A6000, processed in Photoscan, Meshlab, Imagick. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
