FIGURE 6. Distribution of the seven species of Centrolene known to occur in Peru. Six of the seven species are only known from their type locality, shown on this map. The only species with a type locality outside of Peru is C. buckleyi, and the locality reported here is for specimen KU 181884 (Duellman & Wild 1993). Centrolene lemniscatum and C. muelleri are the only two species known to occur sympatrically in Peru. The generic placement of Centrolene azulae and C. fernandoi is uncertain (Guayasamin et al. 2009).
