Natural-Color-Cloud-and-Contrail-Image-Dataset
<p>The natural color cloud and contrail image (NCCI) dataset is a dataset for satellite cloud image super resolution. The NCCI dataset is generated based on Himawari-8 satellite data. The NCCI dataset contains 1100 satellite images, including 1000 natural color images and 100 contrail images. It is worth noting that contrails have consideration in our dataset.</p>

Data from: Rapid categorization of natural face images in the infant right hemisphere
Human performance at categorizing natural visual images surpasses automatic algorithms, but how and when this function arises and develops remain unanswered. We recorded scalp electrical brain activity in 4–6 months infants viewing images of objects in their natural background at a rapid rate of 6 images/second (6 Hz). Widely variable face images appearing every 5 stimuli generate an electrophysiological response over the right hemisphere exactly at 1.2 Hz (6 Hz/5). This face-selective response is absent for phase-scrambled images and therefore not due to low-level information. These findings indicate that right lateralized face-selective processes emerge well before reading acquisition in the infant brain, which can perform figure-ground segregation and generalize face-selective responses across changes in size, viewpoint, illumination as well as expression, age and gender. These observations made with a highly sensitive and objective approach open an avenue for clarifying the developmental course of natural image categorization in the human brain.

Training image dataset of strawberry flowers for new Nature Inspired Detector (NID)
<p>This dataset consists of images of 4 white-flowering strawberry cultivars: <em>F. x ananassa</em> <em>‘Seascape’, ‘Fort Laramie’,</em> and <em>'Hecker',</em> and<em> F. Vesca. </em>The image's size is 416x416 with the following augmentations: horizontal and vertical flip, rotate ±90-degrees, rotate ±15-degrees, sheer ±15-degrees vertical and horizontal, noise 5%, and blur 5px. Labels for both Faster R-CNN and Yolo V5 are included. </p>
Micro computed tomography images of capillary actions in natural sand
<p>The present work investigates the effect of both surface roughness and particle morphology on the retention behaviour of granular materials. To study this, X-ray micro-computed tomography tests were performed on two types of spherical glass beads (i.e. smooth and rough) and two different sands (i.e. natural and roughened). Each sample was subjected to either drainage or soaking paths consisting in a multiphase ‘static’ flow of potassium iodine (KI) brine (wetting phase) and dry air (non-wetting phase). Tomograms were taken at different saturation states ranging from fully brine saturated to air dry conditions. </p>
