This fly whisk comes from the Djimini-Senoufo People of Cote d'Ivoire. It has a rounded circular handle with with an elephant standing on top of it. The handle is carved wood with a brown patina, covered with 24K red gold leaf. The shaft of the handle has ancestral faces. The horse tail attachment for shooing flies is missing. High-Resolution RGB Images and Corresponding Masks of Agricultural Fields
<p>This dataset consists of <strong>325 high-resolution RGB images</strong> and their corresponding <strong>masks</strong>. The images were captured using a DJI AIR 2S drone from four distinct types of agricultural fields: <strong>orchards, olive groves, wheat (green), and vineyards</strong>.</p> <p>All images are provided in <strong>TIFF format</strong>, representing the raw outputs directly from the drone without any preprocessing or compression, thus preserving full sensor quality. The masks are also stored in <strong>TIFF format</strong>.</p> <p>The masks were generated using <strong>orthomosaic processing software</strong>.</p> <p>This dataset is intended for <strong>semantic segmentation tasks</strong> in the field of precision agriculture, supporting the development of models for <strong>automatic vegetation detection</strong> and <strong>crop analysis</strong>.</p>

SpaMask: Dual Masking Graph Autoencoder with Contrastive Learning for Spatial Transcriptomics
<p>Understanding the spatial locations of cell within tissues is crucial for unraveling the organization of cellular diversity. Recent advancements in spatial resolved transcriptomics (SRT) have enabled the analysis of gene expression while preserving the spatial context within tissues. Spatial domain characterization is a critical first step in SRT data analysis, providing the foundation for subsequent analyses and insights into biological implications. Graph neural networks (GNNs) have emerged as a common tool for addressing this challenge due to the structural nature of SRT data. However, current graph-based deep learning approaches often overlook the instability caused by the high sparsity of SRT data. <strong>Masking mechanisms</strong>, as an effective self-supervised learning strategy, can enhance the robustness of these models. To this end, we propose <strong>SpaMask, dual masking graph autoencoder with contrastive learning for SRT analysis</strong>. Unlike previous GNNs, SpaMask masks a portion of spot nodes and spot-to-spot edges to enhance its performance and robustness. SpaMask combines <strong>Masked Graph Autoencoders (MGAE) and Masked Graph Contrastive Learning (MGCL)</strong> modules, with MGAE using node masking to leverage spatial neighbors for improved clustering accuracy, while MGCL applies edge masking to create a contrastive loss framework that tightens embeddings of adjacent nodes based on spatial proximity and feature similarity. We conducted a comprehensive evaluation of SpaMask on <strong>eight datasets from five different platforms</strong>. Compared to existing methods, SpaMask achieves superior clustering accuracy and effective batch correction.</p>

Funeral Mask | NCMA Explore
This Sicán funerary mask is made from a type of gold metal that was abundant to the Sicán. Its color indicates that it is an alloy, or mixture of metals. During the time in which it was made, the mixture of metals would have most likely been gold, silver, and copper. Artifacts of this kind are reported to have been used to adorn the bodies of deceased rulers inside their burial spots. The underside of the mask shows faint traces of the wrappings that once enveloped the mummy. The detailed facial painting indicates the high status of the individual. Since mummification was used to preserve the power of the deceased individuals, scholars believe funerary masks were created to help the deceased embody the power of the Sicán deities or divine rulers. Votive mask
The small terracotta theatre mask was made in Egypt. It was not actually worn on stage, where the actors used practical masks made of light and thus perishable materials. It was found in the cult room of an Egyptian tomb, a chamber where the family placed votive offerings before an image of the deceased and where his or her favourite belongings were placed.
