<p>Data Set collected during the 5G-PICTURE Smart City Demonstration in Bristol </p> <p>Before, during and after the Smart City demonstration several datasets were collected at Millennium Square in Bristol. NANCY SNS JU Project - 5G Coverage Expansion Dataset 1
<p>The dataset is the experimental output of a 5G New Radio (NR) coverage expansion use case in the context of the NANCY project (<a href="https://nancy-project.eu/" rel="nofollow">https://nancy-project.eu/</a>). Two experimental scenarios were carried out, namely a) a scenario where a user equipment (UE) is directly connected to a Base Station (BS) through a 5G NR link, and b) a scenario where an intermediate node is employed, which acts as a relay between the base station and the UE. To this end, two 5G BSs were deployed, using Ettus Research USRP B210 devices. Also, two 5G modules equipped with custom SIM cards were used as end devices that connect to the BSs. From a software perspective, the srsRAN was used to deploy the USRP-based BSs, while the Open5GS software was used for Core Network functionality. Furthermore, iPerf3 and VLC Media Player were utilized to generate network traffic between the BS and the end device.</p> <p>The dataset’s potential applications are wide; for instance, it can be used to provide insights into how the different video streaming resolutions affect the network load. The data collected from the video streaming sessions was critical in evaluating the network's ability to handle video content of varying quality. In this respect, higher video resolutions resulted in more data-intensive streaming and higher requirements in terms of network capacity Furthermore, the dataset can be leveraged by Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms for proactively orchestrating the network resources to maximize the users’ quality of experience and quality of service.</p> <p>The NANCY project has received funding from the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) under the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 101096456.</p>

Exposure of zebrafish larvae to 3g and 5g hyper gravity between 5-6 days post-fertilization.
The general objective of the study was to determine modulation of gene expression by environmental factors, with a special emphasis on bone formation. For this reason, the specific period of treatment was chosen between 5-6 days post-fertilization (dpf), when bone formation and calcification are taking place. Zebrafish larvae were placed at 5 dpf into a Large Diameter Centrifuge and brought to a gravitational force of 3g or 5g for 24 hours. We show that this treatment causes a clear increase of bone formation, as illustrated by cranial skeleton staining of the bone matrix by Alizarin Red, by morphometric analysis of the resulting images and by gene expression studies of selected genes. Thus, a whole genome micro-array experiment was conducted to identify genes that may be involved in the observed effect on bone formation.

5G RSSI Dataset for Estimating Number of Drones in Scene
<p>This dataset provides high-grade Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) data collected from a set of experiments meant to estimate the number of drones present in a closed indoor space. The experiments are conducted varying the number of drones from one to seven, where all the variations in RSSI signal data are captured using a 5G transceiver setup established using Ettus E312 software-defined radio. There are seven files in the database, with a minimum of about 270 million samples.</p>
