INDICATORS TO DISTINGUISH SYMPTOM ACCENTUATORS FROM SYMPTOM PRODUCERS IN INDIVIDUALS WITH A DIAGNOSED ADJUSTMENT DISORDER: A PILOT STUDY ON INCONSISTENCY SUBTYPES USING SIMS AND MMPI-2-RF

In the context of legal damage evaluations, evaluees may exaggerate or simulate symptoms in an attempt to obtain greater economic compensation. To date, practitioners and researchers have focused on detecting malingering behavior as an exclusively unitary construct. However, we argue that there are two types of inconsistent behavior that speak to possible malingering—accentuating (i.e., exaggerating symptoms that are actually experienced) and simulating (i.e., fabricating symptoms entirely)—each with its own unique attributes; thus, it is necessary to distinguish between them. The aim of the present study was to identify objective indicators to differentiate symptom accentuators from symptom producers and consistent participants.

RF Recording of "GoodToGo!" Electronic Tolling System in Washington State

This dataset contains an IQ recording of the "GoodToGo!" electronic tolling system used in Washington State, which operates in the 915MHz ISM band.

Recording details:

Format: Complex Float 32 (a pair of 32-bit floats for each sample)

Software: GQRX

Hardware: R820T-based RTL-SDR with the default ~4.5" dipole antenna

Center frequency: 914.9MHz

Bandwidth: 2.4MHz

The first 2 recordings were made on April 11th, 2023 while driving along I-405 near Bellevue. The recordings were made after tolling hours and the vehicle wasn't in the tolling lane, so my vehicle tag wasn't actually scanned.

The final recording was made on April 23rd, 2023 while driving along the SR520 bridge. My vehicle tag was scanned.

The toll readers are multi-protocol and emit both ISO 18000-6B (SeGo) and ISO 18000-6C query commands which can be decoded.

Input data for PCR-GLOBWB-RF (30 arcmin)

Input data for the 30 arcmin hybrid global streamflow modelling framework described in 'Global streamflow modelling using process-informed machine learning'. Contains the location of the selected 2286 stations and their respective observed discharge (GRDC), input meteorology, input catchment parameters and the state variables and streamflow from the uncalibrated PCR-GLOBWB.

Outputs of PCR-GLOBWB-RF (30 arcmin)

Output data for the 30 arcmin hybrid global streamflow modelling framework described in 'Global streamflow modelling using process-informed machine learning'. Each subsection contains the files for every one of the 5 random subsamples.

Hydrographs from validation subsets of PCR-GLOBWB-RF (30 arcmin)

Plots showing hydrographs and flow duration curves (observed discharge, uncalibrated PCR-GLOBWB discharge and hybrid modelled discharge, 1979-2019) and respective residuals at all stations used for cross-validation (5 subsamples).

A selected number of these plots were used in figure 7 in the paper, to show that the hybrid approach can improve (most of the time) or worsen the performance of uncalibrated PCR-GLOBWB. Here we store all the plots produced during cross-validation, to satisfy any potential curiosity of the reader. Plot numbers reflect stations from the Global Runoff Data Centre (GRDC). Note that the hybrid approach can produce a continuous synthetic streamflow time-series, irrespective of the availability of data at a particular station.

A description of the hybrid methodology used to produce these time-series can be found in the paper 'Global streamflow modelling using process-informed machine learning', by Michele Magni, Edwin H. Sutanudjaja, Youchen Shen and Derek Karssenberg.
