Santander bike network usage week 15 April 2019

Dataset of Dock availability of Santander BSS used in the paper "Genetic Hybrid Optimization of a Real Bike Sharing System" MDPI September 2021.

The data used in this paper are distributed under the Open Licence from Etalab and were collected using the connector provided by JCDecaux.(JCDecaux. JCDecaux Developer. Open Data. 2021.). This connector’s API provides, for a certain city, an extensive set of attributes in real-time. We have selected and retrieved the number of stations, capacity and occupation every 5 min, in order to figure out the dynamic of users. Within this interval, we will transform the occupation into requests of bikes or docks by means of subtracting consecutive occupation values.

Supplementary Material to "Overview of XBRL Taxonomy Usage for Structured Sustainability Reporting in European Filings"

Hereby we provide supplementary material to the submitted paper "Overview of XBRL Taxonomy Usage for Structured Sustainability Reporting in European Filings". Two Excel spreadsheets have been provided containing the ESRS PoC XBRL taxonomy representation and a sample report of a tagged integrated annual report.

The research is expected to be presented at the 1st Conference on Sustainability at Széchenyi István University, Hungary, October 10-12, 2023. This framework leverages an examination of the existing taxonomy of ESRS to provide readers with insight into the essential glossary of disclosures and metrics considered critical by official regulatory sources. During the analysis, all XBRL data was retrieved from public sources and processed in the programming environment currently under development by the Széchenyi István University research team.

Securing Your Crypto-API Usage Through Tool Support - A Usability Study

Developing secure software is essential for protecting passwords and other sensitive data. Despite the abundance of cryptographic libraries available to developers, prior work has shown that developers often unknowingly misuse the provided Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), resulting in serious security vulnerabilities. Eclipse CogniCrypt is an IDE plugin that aims at helping developers use cryptographic APIs more easily and securely by providing three main functionalities: (1) it provides a use-case oriented view of cryptographic APIs and guides the developer through their configuration, (2) it generates the code needed to accomplish the chosen use case based on the selected choices, and (3) it continuously analyzes the developer’s code to ensure that no API misuses are introduced later. However, so far the effectiveness of CogniCrypt was never empirically evaluated. In this work, we fill this gap through a controlled experiment with 24 Java developers. We evaluate the tool’s effectiveness in reducing API misuses and saving developer time. The results show that CogniCrypt significantly improves code security and also speeds up development for cryptograph-related tasks. The feedback received during the study suggests that developers particularly appreciate CogniCrypt’s code generation. Its static-analysis is valued for keeping the code up-to-date. Yet, the further integration of generated code into a developer’s project still presents a major challenge. Nonetheless, our results show that CogniCrypt effectively helps application developers produce more secure code.

Classification of word levels with usage frequency, expert opinions and machine learning

This dataset includes classification of English words according to CEFR language levels. It can be used in various educational applications including determining levels of text that is appropriate for students learning English.

For each word, part-of-speech, the word lemma and usage frequency is provided. For words that have no survey results, a machine learning based methodology is used to predict levels. These predictions are also included as a separate file. This data is released as part of the submission process to British Journal of Educational Technology Special Issue on Open Data.

The included readme.pdf file contains a detailed description of data.

Spectrum usage in Madrid (20150331) when some DVB-T channels were switched off

This dataset represents the spectrum usage in Madrid city on 31st of March 2015 between 02:00 am and 04:00 am. Some DVB-T channels stopped transmitting (~800-860MHz) to make room for 4G networks. The spectrum was scanned using a RTL-SDR device connected to a RPi unit.

The dataset is a CSV file with the following structure. Pear each line you have:

TimeStamp (seconds) , frequency(Hz) , Signal Power (dB)
