Data supporting 'Assessing the Spurious Impacts of Ice-Constraining Methods on the Climate Response to Sea-Ice Loss using an Idealized Aquaplanet GCM' by Neil T Lewis et al.

Data supporting Lewis et al., 2024. Assessing the Spurious Impacts of Ice-Constraining Methods on the Climate Response to Sea-Ice Loss using an Idealised Aquaplanet GCM. Submitted to Journal of Climate.

All data is in NetCDF format.

Output from each experiment is contained in its own folder (e.g., 'ALB.1'). For a description of each experiment, see the accompanying paper.

Data files contain the following outputs:

dyn_vars_daily_clim.nc contains day of year- and zonally-averaged atmospheric fields (u, v, T, etc).

eddy_products.nc constains day of year- and zonally-averaged products of atmospheric fields (e.g., u'v').

ice_temp_daily.nc contains daily-averaged surface temperature and sea-ice thickness.

toa_fluxes_clim.nc contains day of year-averaged top of atmosphere radiative fluxes (e.g., OLR).

For the experiments NDG1.05, NDG1.1, and NDG1.2, nudge_daily_clim.nc is also included, and contains the day of year-averaged nudging heat flux applied to melt the ice.

Assessing the atmospheric response to subgrid surface heterogeneity in CESM2 - code, output, and analysis script

This dataset contains the raw model output, analysis scripts, and CESM source code (containing modifications to include subgrid-scale surface heterogeneity impacts in CAM) that were used to produce the figures in a manuscript targeting the Journal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems (JAMES) for submission, "Assessing the atmospheric response to subgrid surface heterogeneity in CESM2". For additional information on CESM2 and the most up to date source code, see https://github.com/ESCOMP/CESM.

The pre-print of the submitted article is available here: https://doi.org/10.1002/essoar.10512837.1

Assessment of the Humoral Immune Response to the SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein Receptor Binding Motif

Figure S1. Purification of human antibodies against the RBM region of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein using a recombinant RBM Sepharose 4B affinity column (3 x 1 cm, inner diameter) (A) and SDS-PAGE (10%) analysis of the eluate (1) alongside a standard low molecular weight marker (Sigma Chemical Co, Saint Louis, Mo, U.S.A.) stained with Coomassie Blue. Table S1: Microscale thermophoresis (MST) traces of anti-RBM antibodies binding to different concentrations of S1WT (red) and S2WT (green) peptides by MST. Relative fluorescence (RF) between the bound and unbound state was determined over a time of 21s with 20s MST-on time for evaluation. The blue bar indicates the ΔRF before the temperature gradient was applied, whereas the red bar shows the ΔRF during the thermophoresis. For interaction experi ments, the amount of NT.647-labeled antibodies was kept constant, while the concentration of unlabeled peptides varied from 0.5 µg/mL–0.12 ng/mL. The assay was performed in PBS containing 0.05% Tween 20 and after a short incubation period, the samples were analyzed in standard glass MST NT.115 capillaries. Table S2: One-dose regime AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccinated serum information. Table S3: Heterologous booster dose vaccinated serum information.
