<h3>Cross section datasets on the elastic electron scattering of ethanol from our publication Eur. Phys. J. D 77, 52 (2023)</h3> <p>The elastic differential cross sections (DCS) are given in the energy range 30-800 eV in the full angular range: 30&deg;-150&deg; experimental, 0&deg;-25&deg; and 155&deg;-180&deg; extrapolated experimental data using the IAM-SCAR+I model.</p> <p>The integral elastic (ICS) and momentum transfer cross sections (MTCS) are given for energies 60-800 eV.</p> <p>Additional information can be found in the README.txt or the publication.</p>

Scattering matrices and integral scattering quantities of laboratory-characterized silicate and ice particles

<p>Mueller scattering matrices and integral scattering quantities&nbsp;of four different scattering particle shapes, two refractive indices, and various size parameters computed using ADDA (v1.2; Yurkin and Hoekstra, JQSRT 112, pp. 2234-2247, 2011). The file name consists of the particle shape designation&nbsp;(A-D), the refractive index designation&nbsp;(&quot;m254&quot; depicts a silicate-rich particle:&nbsp;m = 2.54 + 0.01i; &quot;m178&quot; depicts an ice-rich particle with impurities:&nbsp;m = 1.78 + 0.001i; both&nbsp;at microwave frequencies), and the volume-equivalent size parameter (spherical-volume-equivalent particle perimeter length per wavelength) ranging from 0.25&nbsp;to 7-16&nbsp;depending on the shape type. &quot;CS&quot; refers to Cross Sections, which includes the extinction cross section, the extinction efficiency, the absorption cross section, and the absorption efficiency. The cross sections assume a wavelength of&nbsp;6.283185307. All Mueller scattering matrices are 4 x 4 matrices for 180 different scattering angles, and&nbsp;orientation-averaged over hundreds or thousands of orientations. The scattering matrix files include a descriptive header line. In&nbsp;the ADDA computations, the polarizability prescription is &quot;Lattice dispersion relation&quot; when |m| &lt; 2 and &quot;Filtered coupled dipoles&quot; when |m| &gt; 2. The Interaction term prescription is &quot;Point dipoles&quot;&nbsp;when |m| &lt; 2 and &quot;Filtered Green&#39;s tensor&quot; when |m| &gt; 2.</p> <p>The corresponding scatterer shape models are given in the files ending &quot;dipoles_x12.out&quot;. ADDA uses scatterer shape models that have been discretized into equally-sized cubic voxels. The shape model files list the x, y, and z coordinates of each voxel. The shape models have been scaled&nbsp;to optimize computation times but&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;that the number of dipoles per wavelength is greater than 10|m| for each size parameter. The given shape model fulfills this condition for a size parameter of 12. The particle shape models have been&nbsp;derived from&nbsp;atmospheric dust particles by scanning-electron microscopes (Lindqvist et al., Atmos. Chem. Phys. 14, 143-157, 2014).</p>

Light Scattering by Roman window glass

<p>This archive contains data-sets representing the light scattering properties of four samples of Roman window glass, as described in detail in Grobe, Noback, and Lang. Data-Driven Modelling of Daylight Scattering by Roman Window Glass. ACM Journal on Computing and Cultural Heritage (manuscript accepted with minor revisions). For each sample, a sub-directory contains the measured DSF (BSDF x cos theta) and a transmission and reflection model for use with the light simulation software Radiance.</p> <p>Each directory contains metadata in Dublin Core and Marc21 format, giving detailed information about the individual dataset.</p>

Beyond Coverage Path Planning: Can UAV Swarms Perfect Scattered Regions Inspections? - Data Collected and Presented for the Experiments

<p>This dataset contains images collected (and processed) for the experiments of Beyond Coverage Path Planning: Can UAV Swarms&nbsp;Perfect Scattered Regions Inspections?" journal article, a work that defines a new path planning problem for UAVs - the Fast Inspection of Scattered Regions (FISR) - and introduces a novel method that deals with this problem - the multi-UAV Disjoint Areas Inspection (mUDAI) method. For the validation of the introduced methodology, two sets of real-world experiments were executed, one small-scale in Galatsi, Athens, were two mUDAI missions were depolyed, with two different optimization objectives for the data collection procedure (Mazimized Coverage Objective - MCO, and Balanced Coverage Objective - BCO), and one large scale in ZEP-Kissos, Thessaloniki, where a Coverage Path Planning (CPP) mission, and 2 mUDAI missions, one with a single and one with two UAVs, using both the MCO criterion for the data collection, were deployed. Regarding the CPP mission, both the collected images, and the processed results (to generate 2D, 3D, elevation, and plant health maps) are included.</p> <p>In this <a title="mUDAI - ChoosePath platform guide" href="https://sites.google.com/view/mudai-platform/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">page</a> you can find a guide for the on-line platform hosting demo instances of the algorithms used for the deployment of all experiments.</p> <p>In case you use this data, please cite the article:<br>(Article under review - more information to be included soon)</p>
