March 10, 1945, at the end of the Asia Pacific War, there was an indiscriminate bombing raid called Great Tokyo Air Raid,by the U.S. military. It lasted for over two hours and destroyed an area of downtown Tokyo, killing about 100,000 people. On the other hand, Japan also bombed China and other countries after the Manchurian Incident. Many people were burned, damaged, and lost their lives in air raids. Most of them were civilians, including women, children and the elderly. Oxygen tank in a box
# This is an [oxygen tank](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-contained_self-rescue_device) in a box used by miners # This is a blue tank in a box. It contained oxygen for the miners in order to help them to breath while they were working in the mines. This was essential to their life, since their natural work environment was oftentimes filled with a high amount of [methan or carbon monoxide](https://www.britannica.com/technology/mine-gas). The gas tanks could supply the miners with oxygen for a couple hours, but were really heavy to carry around. This was one of the reasons why they were usually accompanied with a sling or like in this case with a *box*. The words on the back of the tank **Zuurstof-Koffer** are dutch and translate to oxygen tank. Ute Ulay Water Tank
The Ute Ulay Mining Complex is located along the Alpine Loop Scenic Byway just south of Lake City, Colorado. The Ute Ulay mining claims were discovered in 1871 and were one of the biggest producers of gold and silver in the San Juan Mountains. The Bureau of Land Management Gunnison Field Office has partnered with Hinsdale County to promote heritage tourism and has stabilized and preserved several structures within the mining complex. Ute Ulay was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. The wooden water tank was filled by the flume from the Ute Ulay Dam. The water tank supplied water to the hydropower plant through three vertical pipes to three Leffel turbine water wheels that powered the electrical generating equipment in the power plant. ZiS-2 57mm anti-tank gun
The ZiS-2 was a Russian 57-mm anti-tank gun used during World War II. Development started in May 1940 and in the beginning of 1941 the gun was adopted as 57-mm anti-tank gun model 1941 (ZiS-2). The velocity and mass of the armour-piercing 57 mm projectile allowed it to attain sufficient kinetic energy to penetrate up to 90 mm of armour RHA while keeping the gun sufficiently light, mobile and easy to conceal. It is a automated-action gun with vertical block breech. The rate of fire can reach 25 rounds per minute. The carriage has coil spring suspension, which allows towing with a speed of up to 50 km/h (31 mph) on highways Here is my new photogrammetry project. It's low poly model with 50K tris, 8K albedo and 4K normal map. 740 images shooted with Cannon 650D 20mm lense in RAW, processed with LR. Reconstructed in Reality Capture. MBES M3 KONGSBERG HF MODEL TEST TANK MARINE DEBRIS DATASET
<p>Dataset created in test tank enviroment for data characterization to infer if marine debris could be detected and classified in the water column. Multiple acoustic frequencies were acquired for the multiple objects. Three points of view were considered for each of the three possible ranges that were possible to acquire data without it being completly compromised by the test tank's walls and bottom, as well as reflections in the water surface.</p>

Harbour protection with dual chamber oscillating water column devices (HARBOUR OWC) - 1/25 scale model tank test
Among various devices of wave energy converters (WEC), oscillating water column (OWC) devices are one of the concepts successfully deployed around the world. Hence, the necessity to design and develop the recent concept of dual-chamber OWC device attached to an existing coastal breakwater emerged. Former investigation in a wave flume already characterized the hydrodynamic performance of the device for a 1:25 scale model with frontal wave excitations. From this study, the effect of the incident wave direction is highlighted and the effect of the air compressibility on the device performances can be determined. The enclosed dataset refers to the experimental work developed at LNEC within the project Harbour OWC (PTDC/EME-REN/30866/2017) and considers the 3D effect of the incoming waves with a 14º angle of incidence. Data of free surface elevation along the tank and inside the device along with total pressure are presented.

A Howitzer Artillery Tank refitted into a mermorial for remembrance of the battle of the lys (belgium) during the world wars. This was going to by my final submission into the 3DFLow18 Photogrammetry contest but alas it couldnt be. The model itself came out really good but had to be decimated to fit sketchfab's upload restrictions. E100 - WW2 Germany Heavy Tank
The Panzerkampfwagen E-100 was a superheavy tank project developed by the nazi Germany during the second world war. The E-100 was part of the panzer E series, which was an attempt of the Germans to standardize the fabrication and assembling vehicle lines and replacing their actual tanks. The tank was designed by Adler company following the Wehrmacht requeriments. Its design started during 1942, and its assembly started in the middles of 1943. But due to the Allied advances in the war and the Germany's resourses lack, Hitler ordered to stop the Superheavy tank projects and the work on the E-100 continued with a low priority, with only 3 Adler employees working on it. The E-100 was never finished and the prototype was captured by the Brithis forces, sent to England to being studied and finally scrapped during 1950s. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
