Tomb of Mereruka, East Wall, Chamber A4
Relief scene on the East Wall of Chamber A4 in the Mastaba of Mereruka at Saqqara, Egypt. The panel as captured is 5.7 m x 1.5 m in size. In the center it shows men fishing using fish traps, hand nets and lines. On the right is Mereruka and his wife, while on the left Mereruka stands with one of the sons of King Teti grasping a bird by the wings. A detail of the fishing scene can be seen [here](https://skfb.ly/6JPXt). A full publication of the tomb can be found in *The Mastaba of Mereruka, Parts I-II*, Oriental Institute Publications volumes [31](https://oi.uchicago.edu/research/publications/oip/mastaba-mereruka-part-i-chambers-1-10) and [39](https://oi.uchicago.edu/research/publications/oip/mastaba-mereruka-part-ii-chamber-11-13-doorjambs-and-inscriptions-chambers). Created from 102 photos (Canon EOS Rebel T5i, 18MP) using Metashape Professional 1.6.1. It was photographed in March 2019. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Text carved in wall of house, Arcidosso
Interesting text in the wall of a house near the Church of San Leonardo, Via Codaccio, Arcidosso, Grosseto, Tuscany. It reads "Antonio Pietro" (tr. 'Antony Peter') with the words arranged around a triangular symbol. It may refer to the name/names of ancient owners or master builders. The building is one of the most ancient survived in the city center of Arcidosso, dating mainly to the 12th c., although the inscription may be a later addition. [M. De Falco, 2004-2005, ref. AVM4] Model was created in Reality Capture using 24 photographs. The Mt. Amiata Project is an ongoing GDH collaboration involving faculty and students at the University of Florence and the University of Siena. We could not have done this project without the considerable support of the Municipality of Arcidosso. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

A fluid-walled microfluidic platform for human neuron microcircuits and directed axotomy
<p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p> <div> <p>In our brains, different neurons make appropriate connections; however, there remain few in vitro models of such circuits. We use an open microfluidic approach to build and study neuronal circuits in vitro in ways that fit easily into existing bio-medical workflows. Dumbbell-shaped circuits are built in minutes in standard Petri dishes; the aqueous phase is confined by fluid walls – interfaces between cell-growth medium and an immiscible fluorocarbon, FC40. Conditions are established that ensure post-mitotic neurons derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) plated in one chamber of a dumbbell remain where deposited. After seeding cortical neurons on one side, axons grow through the connecting conduit to ramify amongst striatal neurons on the other – an arrangement mimicking unidirectional cortico-striatal connectivity. We also develop a moderate-throughput non-contact axotomy assay. Cortical axons in conduits are severed by a media jet; then, brain-derived neurotrophic factor and striatal neurons in distal chambers promote axon regeneration. As additional conduits and chambers are easily added, this opens up the possibility of mimicking complex neuronal networks, and screening drugs for their effects on connectivity.</p> <p> </p> </div> <p><strong>FILE DESCRIPTIONS</strong></p> <p>Source Data.xlsx: Tabular datasets plotted on Main Figures 2, 3 and 6, and Supplementary Figures 1 and 2.</p> <p>Key Resources Table.xlsx: Table containing details on the key resources (antibodies, cell lines, virus strains, software, code, and protocols) used in this study.</p>

Database on 16 reinforced concrete walls with lap splices and 8 reference units with continuous reinforcement (V2 models included)
<p>Recent post-earthquake missions have shown that both old and code-compliant reinforced concrete wall buildings can experience critical damage due to lap splices, which led to a recent surge in experimental tests of walls with such constructional detail. Most of the 16 walls with lap splices described in the literature thus far were carried out in the last five years. A database with these wall tests, plus 8 reference unit walls with continuous reinforcement, is herein provided alongside with the shell element models developed in Vector2 to simulate their inelastic F-D response</p> <p><strong>If the experimental data or the models are used, please cite:</strong></p> <p>- J.P.
