Historical GC-Net AWS photo archive
<p>This repository contains a compilation of photos from the historical GC-Net AWS deployed by K. Steffen and his team between 1990 and 2022.</p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong></p> <p>- repository of photos giving visual evidence of e.g., the relative instrument placement, how much the station is leaning, etc.</p> <p>- It's ideal to have photos from different vantages and before/after maintenance. So, 4 pix per site / year is a nice-to-have.</p> <p><strong>Structure</strong>:</p> <p>The dataset is divided in the following folders:</p> <p>- <strong>curated_archive_of_GC-Net_AWS</strong> folder.</p> <p>This is the most important folder. It contains a currated selection of pictures from each AWS, if possible pre and post maintenance, and if useful, from differet angles. Importance is given to the visibility of the general geometry of the station. The pictures are *cropped* and *renamed* to increase ease of use. Nameing convention is \"NAME YYYY MM DDx pre/post via photographer.format\", e.g. \"CP1 1998 05 30a pre via J Box.jpg\".</p> <p>- <strong>all pictures GC-Net</strong> folder:</p> <p>This folder contains all the available pictures from the AWS. No removal of redundant pictures, no cropping, no renaming. Pictures are organized in year and station specific folders.</p> <p>- GC-Net_photo_grid.png and GC-Net_photo_grid_minor_stations.png which give an overview of the available photos.</p> <p><strong>Contributors:</strong></p> <p>- J. ROSAT All-Sky Survey Archival Data
This database table contains the list German ROSAT All-Sky Survey observations which were obtained during the ROSAT All-Sky Survey phase (1990 July 30 to 1991 Jan 25) and which have become available to the public. These data were obtained in scanning mode and therefore an individual dataset covers a much larger area of the sky than do pointed moded observations. In addition all these data were obtained with PSPC-C, while all pointed mode observations after the end of the All-Sky Survey were obtained with PSPC-B. For each observation listed in this database table, the instrument used, processing site, and coordinates of the field center are given, as well as the ROSAT observation request number (ROR), actual exposure time, date the observation took place, and more. For details about the ROSAT instruments, consult the ROSAT Mission Description (NASA Research Announcement for ROSAT, Appendix F and its addendum) and the ROSAT GSFC GOF website at <a href="http://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/rosat/rosgof.html">http://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/rosat/rosgof.html</a> for more information. For more information about the ROSAT All Sky Survey, see the ROSAT All Sky Survey page at <a href="http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/cgi-bin/rosat/rosat-survey">http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/cgi-bin/rosat/rosat-survey</a>. This database table was created at the HEASARC in March 2002, based on information provided by Max-Planck-Institut fuer extraterrestrische Physik at <a href="http://wave.xray.mpe.mpg.de/">http://wave.xray.mpe.mpg.de/</a>. HST Planned and Archived Observations
This is the HST Planned and Archived Exposures Catalog (PAEC) as obtained from the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) Archive which created the original compilation from their Archive and Proposal databases. This database table provides a summary of all approved HST observations, including already completed observations and those which are planned to be executed as part of the current cycle or are reserved for execution by Guaranteed Time Observer (GTO) programs for the upcoming cycles. This database table provides a summary of both planned and completed HST observations. Much more information can be obtained about each exposure, and the data themselves can be retrieved, using STScI's Multimission Archive (URL is <a href="http://archive.stsci.edu/hst/">http://archive.stsci.edu/hst/</a>) or STScI's Archive Web Interface (URL is <a href="http://archive.stsci.edu/hst/search.php">http://archive.stsci.edu/hst/search.php</a>). Note that a number of solar system and other objects have 0 values for their 2000 equinox RA and declination coordinates in the original HST table and hence also in this HEASARC database. This HEASARC version of the HSTPAEC will be updated on a regular basis, usually within one month of the data files on the STScI Web site (URL <a href="http://archive.stsci.edu/hst/paec.html">http://archive.stsci.edu/hst/paec.html</a>) being updated. This database table is recreated by the HEASARC on a routine basis, usually within one month of the PAEC data files at the STScI Hubble Data Archive (HDA) being modified. This is a service provided by NASA HEASARC .

SAGE-SMC IRAC Single Frame + Mosaic Photometry Archive
The SAGE-SMC pro ject is a Cycle 4 legacy program on the Spitzer Space Telescope, entitled, SAGE-SMC: Surveying the Agents of Galaxy Evolution in the Tidally-Disrupted, Low-Metallicity Small Magellanic Cloud, with Karl Gordon (STScI) as the PI. The project overview and initial results are described in a paper by Gordon et al. (2010, in prep). The SMC was mapped at two different epochs dubbed Epochs 1 and 2 separated by 3 (IRAC) and 9 (MIPS) months, as this provides a 90-degree roll angle in the orientation of the detectors, which optimally removes the striping artifacts in MIPS and artifacts along columns and rows in the IRAC image data. In addition, these two epochs are useful constraints of source variability expected for evolved stars and some young stellar ob jects (YSOs). The IRAC and MIPS observations from the S3MC pathfinder survey of the inner 3 sq. deg. of the SMC (PI: Bolatto, referred to as Epoch 0) have been reduced using the same software. In comparison to the catalog, the archive has more source fluxes (fewer nulled wavelengths) and some more sources but these additions have more uncertainty associated with them. For the catalog, a source must be detected in at least 60% of the observations at that wavelength, at least 32% of the observations in an adjacent band (the confirming band), and the S/N must be greater than [5, 5, 5, 7] for IRAC bands [3.6um], [4.5um], [5.8um] and [8.0um]. The 2MASS K_s band is counted as a detection. For a typical source, extracted from 2x12 sec frametime images, the minimum detection criterion amounts to being detected twice in one band (usually band 1 or 2) and once in an adjacent band (sometimes referred to as the 2+1 criterion). For the catalog, sources with neighbors within a 2" radius are excluded (culled). For the archive, sources within a 0.5" are excluded. For more details, see Section 3.3 of the SAGE-SMC Data Delivery Document.

GLIMPSE II Archive
The Galactic Legacy Infrared Mid-Plane Survey Extraordinaire (GLIMPSEII) imaged longitudes ±10◦ of the central region of the Galaxy. The latitude coverage is ±1◦ from |l| =10◦to 5◦, ±1.5◦ from |l| =5◦to 2◦, and ±2◦ from |l| =2◦to 0◦. GLIMPSEII coverage excludes the Galactic center region l=±1◦, b=±0.75◦ observed by the GALCEN GO program (PID=3677). GLIMPSEII had two-epoch coverage for a total of three visits on the sky. The observations consisted of two 1.2 second integrations at each position in the first epoch of data taking (September 2005) and a single 1.2 second integration at each position six months later (April 2006).The GLIMPSEII Archive (GLMIIA or the “Archive”) consists of point sources with a signal- to-noise > 5 in at least one band and less stringent selection critera than the Catalog. The photometric uncertainty is typically < 0.3 mag. The GLIMPSEII Catalog is a subset of the Archive, but note that the entries for a particular source might not be the same due to additional nulling of magnitudes in the Catalog because of the more stringent requirements.

HEASARC Astronomical Archive: GLIESE2MAS - Gliese Catalog Stars with Accurate Coordinates and 2MASS Cross-Identifications
This table contains precise epoch 2000 coordinates and cross-identifications to sources in the 2MASS Point Source Catalog for nearly all stars in the Gliese, Gliese-Jahreiss, and Woolley catalogs of nearby stars. The only Gliese objects where the authors were not successful are two Gliese sources that are actually QSOs; two proposed companions to brighter stars, which they believe do not exist; four stars included in one of the catalogs but identified there as only optical companions; one probable plate flaw; and two stars that simply remain unrecovered. For the 4251 recovered stars, 2693 have coordinates based on Hipparcos positions, 1549 have coordinates based on 2MASS data, and 9 have positions from other astrometric sources. All positions have been calculated at epoch 2000 using proper motions from the literature.
LAMBDA - Legacy Archive for Microwave Background Data Analysis
The High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC) and the Legacy Archive for Microwave Background Data Analysis (LAMBDA) have merged into a single organization that will use the name HEASARC. The merged archive will continue to provide all of the services currently being offered by the two archives, while better serving users interested in studies requiring both high energy and microwave data. Users will notice few immediate changes, but we will gradually fully integrate all the services of the archives.
GLIMPSE Cygnus-X Archive
The Cygnus-X Catalog and Archive contain sources from longitudes l=76-82d extracted from data processed using the GLIMPSE pipeline. There are two types of source lists: a high reliability point source Catalog and a more complete point source Archive.
GLIMPSE 3D Epoch 2 Archive
GLIMPSE3D is the third in a series of large area projects to map selected regions of the Galactic plane using the Spitzer Space Telescope Infrared Array Camera (IRAC). GLIMPSEI1 covered the Galactic plane from |l| = 10◦ to 65◦ and |b| < 1◦; GLIMPSEII filled in the inner 20 degrees of the Galactic plane, |l| < 10◦, with vertical extensions up to ±1.5◦ for |l| =5◦to 2◦, and up to ±2◦ from |l| =2◦to 0◦. GLIMPSE3D adds vertical extensions, generally up to |b| < 3◦, but up to |b| < 4.2◦ in the center of the Galaxy. The goal of this coverage is to provide data to study the vertical stellar and interstellarThe GLIMPSE3D Archive (GLM3DA or the “Archive”) consists of point sources with a signal- to-noise > 5 in at least one band and less stringent selection critera than the Catalog. The photometric uncertainty is typically < 0.3 mag. The GLIMPSE3D Catalog is a subset of the Archive, but note that the entries for a particular source might not be the same due to additional nulling of magnitudes in the Catalog because of the more stringent requirements.

EUVE Archive and Observation Log
This catalog of the EUVE Science Archive has been constructed based on information provided by personnel of the Center for Extreme-Ultraviolet Astrophysics (CEA), and is made available in the current EUVEMASTER database table. Most of the information in the catalog is also in the headers of the FITS files. The HEASARC now has nearly all of the 1378 pointed EUVE Deep Survey/Spectrometer (DS/S) datasets that were processed by CEA until its closing in March 2001. There are a small number of observations that were made in the year 2000 for which the HEASARC does not currently have the corresponding datasets. Notice that this catalog does not contain entries corresponding to EUVE observations in scan mode or where the files received by the HEASARC were not of the normal image or events type. This is the 7th (and possibly final) version of the EUVEMASTER database, last updated in June 2001. This catalog has been constructed based on information provided by staff members of the Center for Extreme-Ultraviolet Astrophysics (CEA) in Berkeley, CA, whose help is gratefully acknowledged. This is a service provided by NASA HEASARC .
Cygnus-X Archive
The Cygnus-X project is a Cycle 4 Legacy program (PID 40184) on the Spitzer Space Telescope. The survey imaged a ~24 square degree region centered near 20:30:25, +40:00 (J2000) with IRAC and the MIPS 24 micron band. Two catalog data products are provided, the Catalog and the Archive. The Catalog has more stringent constraints on S/N and detections in multiple bands, so in principle it is more reliable than the Archive. However, the lists differ mostly in the sources included at the faint end, including more sources that satisfy the S/N criterion in both IRAC 3.6 and 4.5 m bands. A detailed comparison between the Archive sources and the mosaics indicates that most of the sources are likely real, but a conservative estimate of the S/N has pushed them slightly outside of the requirement for inclusion in the Catalog.
