Precalculated Results of Throughput Analysis in "Comprehensive Benchmarking of High-Performance Vector Field Representations"
<p>This repository contains results calculated by our throughput analysis. These results should be exactly and deterministically reproducible using the aforementioned software, but precomputed results are provided for the benefit of the reader, in case certain software is not available. Included in this artifact are the assembly files generated by the compilers, the throughput analysis of these aforementioned assembly files, and a collection of tables which summarize the results.</p> <p>These results were generated using <em>clang</em> version 14.0.6, <em>gcc</em> version 11.2.0, and <em>llvm-mca</em> version 14.0.6.</p>

<p>The uploaded data was generated during the EU-India funded PAVITR Project, which was funded by the European Union through its Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, grant number 821410 and the Department of Science of Technology in India through the DST/IMRCD/India-EU.</p> <p> </p> <p>The data of this dataset includes the initial results and analysis made for the water fertigated Short Rotation Coppice System located in Aligahr, India. The data includes data regarding properties of the harvested biomass, soil, nutrients, among others. </p>

Vegetation greenesss data for the Aït Benhaddou Catchment, Morocco. Includes: 1984-2019 NDVI time series, breakpoint analysis results, and resillience indicator results, among others.
<p>This dataset is comprised of two main parts, both originating from different but related works. </p> <p>The NDVI timeseries and breakpoint analysis were originally developed by Vermeer (2021) for the MSc thesis: Vermeer, A. L. (2021). <em>Ecological stability in the face of climatic disturbances: a case study of a dryland ecosystem in the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains</em>. These data include a harmonized timeseries of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index from different Landsat missions at 30x30 meter resolution for the Aït Benhaddou catchment in Morocco. It also includes the output of a breakpoint analysis that was conducted using this dataset, which showcases different statistical breakpoints in NDVI after a severe drought that occured between 1998 and 2002. Shapefiles, a DEM and masks of irrigiated areas for the catchment are also included. For more information about these data, consult Vermeer (2021).</p> <p>The secondary part of this dataset was produced by Grootoonk (2024) for the MSc thesis: Grootoonk, W. (2024). <em>Relations between temporal resilience indicators and trend breakpoints in a dryland high-mountain catchment, </em>drawing upon the original dataset from Vermeer (2021). These data include Kendall's tau values for the resillience indicators variance and lag-one autocorrelation, computed using a rolling window for each pixel. Results for differerent window sizes (WS) for both indicators are included. </p> <p>Beyond these main results, a number of additional data sources are provided. These are Kendall's tau for precipitation variance in the area, produced using CHIRPS data (https://www.chc.ucsb.edu/data/chirps) and a NSI soil salinity map produced from Landsat imagery. See Grootoonk (2024) for more information. </p>

A Comparative Analysis of Machine Learning Approaches to Gap Filling Meteorological Datasets (Results Only)
<p>This dataset contains the results from our evaluation of methodologies for filling gaps in meterological data. Variables were chosen to represent a standard set of measurements for purposes typically performed using Weather Stations installed in urban and rural areas. There are 4 dimensions by which we measure and validate each of the gap filling models across a large set of experimental configurations: meteorological variables <strong>TargetVar </strong>(dewpoint, humidity, leaf wetness, temp); <strong>feature_set</strong> (AWS, AWS-ERA5, ERA5, ERA5_Debias, Spatial); 3 types of machine learning algorithms <strong>ML</strong> (linear regression, random forests, LightGBM) combined with 2 non-ML algorithms; and <strong>gap_length</strong>: 1, 4, 36 and 288. A total of 1,720 experiments were conducted: 1,440 machine learning experiments; 160 using a spatial algorithm and 120 experiments using ERA5. For the 3 machine learning experiments, the average result was selected for each of 10 sites for 4 gap sizes (40 results) with the 3 ML models using 3 different feature sets (120 results).</p> <p>Data is provided in both CSV format and as a MySQL dump.</p> <p>Resultsets are accompanied with the SQL expression used to generate the result.</p>

<p>Association study results for long-term kidney transplant rejection. Single-variant association results are provided as Plink output files. Meta-analysis results are provided as METAL output files. FDR results are sorted lists of the top association result from random sample label permutations and are included with the plink and meta-analysis results. SKAT and GSEA results are provided for gene and pathway level analyses, respectively.</p>

Analysis of the water-power nexus of the Balkan Peninsula power system - results
<p>Power generation sector worldwide accounts for high water withdrawal and consumption due to the hydropower generation and cooling of thermal power plants. Hence, the operation of the power generation sector is constrained by the availability of the water resources, as well as the addition of constrains on water resources used for other purposes, such as irrigation, flood control, water supply, agriculture, etc. The optimal utilization of water resources between the water and energy sector is defined under the term water-energy (or water-power) nexus. This study describes the implementation of hydrological LISFLOOD, Medium-Term Hydrothermal Coordination (DispaSET-MTHC) and Unit Commitment and Dispatch (DispaSET UCD) models for detailed analysis of impacts on the SEE regional power system for three different hydrological years. Results were validated based on the available ENTSO-E data for the average hydrological (2015) year. Moreover, calculations on water withdrawal and consumption for cooling of thermal power plants were added. Addition of water stress index (WSI) calculations can determine locations that could experience water scarcity.</p> <p>This dataset is composed of results of the latter described study.</p> <p>Results are divided into three sets, as results from the first model DispaSET MTHC (MTHC_results_Balkan), second model DispaSET UCD (UCD_results_Balkan) and additional calculations on water consumption and withdrawal for thermal power plant cooling (Water_relazed_results_Balkan).</p>
