<p>This dataset contains the data and code for the sherd macro-appearance model, LA-ICPMS and p-XRF analysis. The code is for R. The LA-ICPMS samples were separated using LAtools. The pXRF data was first processed with ARTAX. The ARTAX result files are provided. The XRFn.txt derives from further processing of the data in Excel. </p>

This is one of many 3D scans of a late 1800s blue glazed, ceramic stoneware mixing bowl sherd found at the McClure Archaeological Site. Located in the Shawnee National forest, the McClure farmstead is part of a freed African-American community known as Miller Grove. This piece was found during an SIUC summer 2019 Field School excavation. This field school was mentored by Dr. Mark J. Wagner, Director of the Center for Archaeological Investigations.
