LAGOS-AND: A Large Gold Standard Dataset for MAG/OpenAlex Author Name Disambiguation

<p>We present a large gold standard dataset for author name disambiguation (AND) research (LAGOS-AND), which contains two sub-datasets, LAGOS-AND-BLOCK and LAGOS-AND-PAIRWISE. The datasets were automatically built by using the two authoritative sources, ORCID and DOI, based on the ORCID open database and an open literature database (MAG or OpenAlex).</p> <p>The currently available versions of the LAGOS-AND datasets are:</p> <ol> <li><strong>Version 1.0 (MAG+ORCID)</strong>: This is the initial version of the LAGOS-AND dataset, the evaluation results and quality control measures of this version dataset can be found in this paper <a href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.01821">https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.01821</a>.</li> <li><strong>Version 2.0 (OpenAlex+ORCID)</strong>: This version builds on OpenAlex instead of MAG because MAG was discontinued on 31 December 2021, and OpenAlex not only positions itself as a drop-in replacement for MAG but also keeps evolving by aggregating academic resources from other repositories. In addition, the pairwise-based sub-dataset (LAGOS-AND-PAIRWISE v2.0) improves the accuracy of labeled authorship (class label) as compared to LAGOS-AND-PAIRWISE v1.0.</li> </ol> <p>Note that there are other versions of the dataset, which we call &quot;pre-release&quot;. We recommend users to use the normal version of the dataset. These pre-release versions were originally intended to be released as the normal versions. However, during the preparation of the research paper, we found an issue with the dataset and the reviewers also made some reasonable requests for the dataset. This led us to update the dataset. Unfortunately, the Zenodo platform does not allow updates to the same version of dataset, so we had to create new versions. The created pre-release datasets are as follows:</p> <ol> <li><strong>Version 2.0-alpha</strong>: For few samples in LAGOS-AND-PAIRWISE, the class labels are incorrect. We improve the accuracy of the class label in the normal Version 2.0 dataset by using a better random sampling approach.</li> <li><strong>Version 1.0-beta</strong>: We created this version because a sub-dataset of this version LAGOS-AND-PAIRWISE contains only ~500K author pairs, while it should contain ~1M author pairs, as described in our paper. We fixed the problem in the Version 1.0 dataset.</li> <li><strong>Version 1.0-alpha</strong>: The earliest dataset uploaded to Zenodo, corresponding to the original dataset before addressing the reviewers&#39; comments and suggestions. In contrast, the dataset in Version 1.0 is the dataset after the reviewers&#39; comments and suggestions have been addressed.</li> </ol>

Gollum: A Gold Standard for Large Scale\\Multi Source Knowledge Graph Matching

<p>The set of Knowledge Graphs (KGs) generated with automatic and manual approaches is constantly growing.<br> For an integrated view and usage, an alignment between these KGs is necessary on the schema as well as instance level.<br> There are already approaches which try to tackle this multi source knowledge graph matching problem,<br> but large gold standards are missing to evaluate their effectiveness and scalability.<br> In particular, most existing gold standards are fairly small and can be solved by matchers which match exactly two KGs (1:1), which are the majority of existing matching systems.<br> <br> We close this gap by presenting Gollum&nbsp;-- a gold standard for large-scale multi source knowledge graph matching with over 275,000 correspondences between 4,149 different KGs.<br> They originate from knowledge graphs derived by applying the DBpedia extraction framework to a large wiki farm.<br> <br> Three variations of the gold standard are made available:<br> (1) a version with all correspondences for evaluating unsupervised matching approaches, and two versions for evaluating supervised matching: (2) one where each KG is contained both in the train and test set, and (3) one where each KG is exclusively contained in the train or the test set.</p> <p><br> We plan to extend our KG track at the Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative (OAEI) to allow for matching systems&nbsp;<br> which are specifically designed to solve the multi KG matching problem.<br> As a first step towards this direction, we evaluate multi source matching approaches which reuse two-KG (1:1) matchers from the past OAEI.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Due to the size of the KG files, they are hosted at the institute:</p> <p><a href="http://data.dws.informatik.uni-mannheim.de/dbkwik/gollum/40K.tar">http://data.dws.informatik.uni-mannheim.de/dbkwik/gollum/40K.tar</a>&nbsp; &nbsp; (50,3 GB)<br> <a href="http://data.dws.informatik.uni-mannheim.de/dbkwik/gollum/all.tar">http://data.dws.informatik.uni-mannheim.de/dbkwik/gollum/all.tar</a>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; (74,7 GB)<br> <a href="http://data.dws.informatik.uni-mannheim.de/dbkwik/gollum/gold.tar">http://data.dws.informatik.uni-mannheim.de/dbkwik/gollum/gold.tar</a>&nbsp; &nbsp;(25,3 GB)</p>

Methoxycyclization of 1,5-Enynes by Coinage Metal Catalysts: Is Gold Always Superior?

<p>Au(I) catalysts promote the intramolecular cycloisomerization of 1,<em>n</em>-enynes, as well as facilitate reactions with alcohols, characteristics that have led to their wide-spread in the synthesis of complex natural products. Literature reports of Cu and Ag species catalyzing the same or similar reactions are much less common. Here, we utilize molecular volcano plots to assess the activity of 45 coinage metal phosphine/phosphite catalysts possessing a variety of stereoelectronic properties for the methoxycyclization reaction of a prototypical 1,5-enyne. Our analysis reveals that the intrinsic properties of gold allow it to be coupled with a wide range of ligands, all of which exhibit high catalytic activity. On the other hand, the coupling of silver and copper with more traditional phosphines, such as triphenylphosphine, leads to catalysts with diminished catalytic ability. The activity of Ag and Cu species, however, can be enhanced by appending ligands with strong &pi;-accepting character, which shifts these species closer to the volcano peak.</p>

Anisotropic Gold Nanomaterial Synthesis Using Peptide Facet Specificity and Timed Intervention: Experiment and simulation data, figures, and notebooks for recreating figures

<p><strong>/Data</strong></p> <p>Contains all experimental and simulation data used to generate figures in the manuscript. Each folder is labelled with the relevant technique: atomic force microscopy (AFM), dynamic light scattering (DLS), molecular dynamics (MD), small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy and selected area electron diffraction (TEM-SAED), and ultraviolet-visible light spectroscopy (UV-Vis). Folders may contain subfolders from different experiments and should be unchanged for the notebooks to point to the correct path when loading data. Any file which contains SI in the filename indicates sample information, which includes sample concentration, delay associated with creating the sample (Delay4 is the relevant column name), unique identification (UID), etc.</p> <p><strong>/Data/AFM</strong></p> <p>Each filename is labelled with the number of delay associated with the sample or No Z2 Control in the case of the control sample. Synthesis of Tuneable Gold Nanostars: the Role of Adenosine Monophosphate

<p>The seed-mediated growth of gold nanostructures is known to be strongly dependent on the gold seed nanocrystal structure but also in the presence of different additives that may influence the morphology, and therefore the crystalline structure of the final nanoparticle. Among the different additives or capping ligands, biomolecules are an interesting family due to their potential biomedical applications such as drug delivery, bioimaging, biosensing, phototherapy, and antimicrobial activities. Here, we develop a seed-mediated strategy for synthesizing uniform Au nanostars with tuneable optical properties that involve adenosine monophosphate (AMP) as capping ligand. The experimental data reveal the key role of AMP not just providing colloidal stability and directing the reduction of the gold precursor via complexation but also mediating the anisotropic growth of the Au seeds via its selective adsorption on the different crystalline facets of Au nanoparticles. These observations agree with theoretical simulations carried out using molecular dynamics and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Interestingly, the obtained Au nanostars showed high thermal stability as well as colloidal stability in polar organic solvents, which allowed their direct silica coating via the St&ouml;ber method. Importantly, we also explored the mimic enzymatic activity of the resulting gold nanostars and observed a superior catalytic activity compared with other gold nanoparticles reported in the literature.</p>

MEDDOPLACE Corpus: Gold Standard annotations for Medical Documents Place-related Content Extraction

<p><strong>MEDDOPLACE</strong>&nbsp;stands for MEDical DOcument PLAce-related Content Extraction. It is a shared task and set of resources focused on the detection, normalization (entity linking/toponym resolution) and classification of different kinds of places, as well as related types of information such as clinical departments, nationalities or patient movements, in medical documents in Spanish.</p> <p>This repository includes the corpus' <strong>train and test sets</strong> in multiple formats, as well as the <strong>SNOMED gazetteer</strong>, <strong>cross-mapping</strong> between SNOMED and MeSH and the <strong>multilingual silver standard in 8 languages&nbsp;</strong>(Catalan, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Romanian and Swedish). The Olympic gold medalists and Instagram - A longitudinal study on user characteristics

<p>This dataset includes Instagram user characteristics of those Olympic athletes who won gold medals in the individual events of Rio2016. The name of all these gold medalists of individual events are in the dataset (226 athletes), however only 144 athletes (83 men and 61 women) had a publicly available Instagram account in all of the observations during the 4 months period of data gathering.
