Verifying OpenJDK's LinkedList using KeY: Additional artefacts belonging to master thesis

The file testcases.tar.gz contains source code files w.r.t. 64 test cases carried out for this thesis. It also contains log files that contain output of these test cases. The latter are also contained in the file Appendix.pdf, which serves as an on-line appendix for the thesis. Other sources which are of importance for the thesis can be found in https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3517081. Three proof files have been re-established for the purpose of describing these proofs in the thesis. Thus: they deviate from the ones that can be found in https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3517081. These three can be found in the file "Three renewed proof files.zip". It concerns proof files for lastIndexOf(Object), linkFirst(Object), and addFirst(Object). https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3517081 is a link that has been created to store artefacts w.r.t. a paper for the TACAS conference in April 2020 in Dublin, Ireland. The paper carries the same title as this thesis.

Data from: The jack-of-all-trades is master of none: a pathogen's ability to infect a greater number of host genotypes comes at a cost of delayed reproduction.

A trade-off between a pathogen's ability to infect many hosts and its reproductive capacity on each host genotype is predicted to limit the evolution of an expanded host range, yet few empirical results provide evidence for the magnitude of such trade-offs. Here, we test the hypothesis for a trade-off between the number of host genotypes that a fungal pathogen can infect (host genotype range) and its reproductive capacity on susceptible plant hosts. We utilized strains of the oat crown rust fungus that carried widely varying numbers of virulence (avr) alleles known to determine host genotype range. We quantified total spore production and the expression of four pathogen life history stages: infection efficiency, time until reproduction, pustule size, and spore production per pustule. In support of the trade-off hypothesis, we found that virulence level, the number of avr alleles per pathogen strain, was correlated with significant delays in the onset of reproduction and with smaller pustule sizes. Modeling from our results, we conclude that trade-offs have the capacity to constrain the evolution of host genotype range in local populations. In contrast, long term trends in virulence level suggests that the continued deployment of resistant host lines over wide regions of the USA has generated selection for increased host genotype range.

Master's Thesis: 2D Numerical Simulations of Shallow Crustal Magma Bodies

This collection of videos showcases a series of simulations conducted during my master’s thesis. The videos illustrate the evolution of temperature, water, and silica parameter fields, highlighting the internal dynamics within the systems. Key processes captured include whole-system convection, system overturn, plume formation, drip formation, and layering at the base of the systems. Additionally, two of the videos present Harker plots of the major oxides: one from the closed-system reference scenario, which contained a single magma composition, and the other from the open-system simulation, which included two magma compositions.

Complete Data Set for the Master Thesis: Acceptance of Robotics in Tourism

Complete data set for the master thesis "Acceptance of Robotic Technology in Tourism" including the SPSS file.

Abstract

Robotics, artificial intelligence, and automation have undergone significant evolution across various industries, from manufacturing to healthcare. The tourism industry is also embracing these technological advancements, accelerated by factors such as the global pandemic and labor shortages. Despite their transformative potential, the academic exploration of robots in tourism remains limited, particularly regarding customer attitudes and acceptance.

This master thesis addresses the gap in research by investigating the acceptance of robots in the tourism industry. The study aims to identify the factors influencing acceptance, explore potential initiatives for increased acceptance over time, and highlight challenges in integrating robotics into tourism. The research questions guide the exploration of these facets. The literature review reveals a scarcity of research on robot acceptance in tourism, with existing studies often focusing on engineering aspects rather than social science perspectives. To address this topic, this thesis formulates a comprehensive research goal, seeking to understand the factors shaping acceptance and offering insights into the opportunities and challenges of robot integration in tourism. The thesis then explores the fundamental aspects of robotics and their potential applications in tourism, presenting a micro, meso, and macro level analysis. A hypothesis model is developed based on prior research, laying the groundwork for data collection through surveys in three distinct scenarios. Upon gathering and processing the survey data using SPSS, the results are analyzed, with a focus on influencing factors affecting robot acceptance. The findings are compared to established models such as TAM, UTAUT, and the Service Robot Acceptance Model.

Keywords: robotics, artificial intelligence, adoption, technology acceptance model, tourism, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, anthropomorphism

Use not permitted without permission of the author.
