Bottom-up anytime discovery of generalised multimodal graph patterns for knowledge graphs
<p>These resources were generated during the research performed for a research paper with title "Bottom-up anytime discovery of generalised multimodal graph patterns for knowledge graphs", submitted in 2024. The research was performed by Xander Wilcke (first author), Rick Mourits, Auke Rijpma, and Richard Zijdeman, and was funded by the NWO CLARIAH-PLUS.</p> <p>File list</p> <p>This is the dataset that was used as input to our experiments. It contains the civil records of 100,000 Dutch citizen in RDF format (gzipped N-Triples), and was randomly sampled from the nationwide civil registry. All individuals in this dataset have been deceased for at least 100 years.</p> <p> - dataset_sample-100000.nt.gz</p> <p>This data was generated during the experiments. In other words, these are the (unfiltered) patterns that were founds during our research, and which are thus present in the 100,000 people sample that was used as input. The patterns are encoded as RDF (N-Triples) with provenance and metadata. </p> <p> - socchist-100K_output.tar.xz</p> <p>This file contains the results from the survey (cleaned) held during the evaluation of our research, and lists the Likert scores and free-form responses from the participants of the survey. The responses have been anonymised.</p> <p> - survey_results_240713_cleaned.csv</p>

Mechanisms driving the soil organic matter decomposition response to nutrient enrichment:Nutrient Network. A cross-site investigation of bottom-up control over herbaceous plant community dynamics and ecosystem function.
This experiment is one implementation of a globally distributed experiment, known as the Nutrient Network. At Cedar Creek, as in over 70 other sites in grasslands around the world, the experiment aims to describe impacts of increased nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur and other metals) and decreased herbivory (removal of mammals by fencing). Two overarching questions are being explored with these manipulations: 1. To what extent are plant production and diversity co-limited by multiple nutrients in herbaceous-dominated communities? 2. Under what conditions do grazers or fertilization control plant biomass, diversity, and composition? By utilizing identical protocols at diverse grassland sites around the world, NutNet aims to uncover both the generalities in ecosystem functioning, and the contingencies or differences which can obscure those common mechanisms. In addition to the standard NutNet protocol, e247 includes an additional low Nitrogen gradient (1 gram Nitrogen per meter squared per year and 5 grams Nitrogen per meter squared per year in addition to the standard 10 grams Nitrogen per meter squared per year).

Data from: Priority effects are interactively regulated by top-down and bottom-up forces: evidence from wood decomposer communities
Both top-down (grazing) and bottom-up (resource availability) forces can determine the strength of priority effects, or the effects of species arrival history on the structure and function of ecological communities, but their combined influences remain unresolved. To test for such influences, we assembled experimental communities of wood-decomposing fungi using a factorial manipulation of fungivore (Folsomia candida) presence, nitrogen availability, and fungal assembly history. We found interactive effects of all three factors on fungal species composition and wood decomposition 1 year after the fungi were introduced. The strength of priority effects on community structure was affected primarily by nitrogen availability, whereas the strength of priority effects on decomposition rate was interactively regulated by nitrogen and fungivores. These results demonstrate that top-down and bottom-up forces jointly determine how strongly assembly history affects community structure and function.
