European Education Provision on Public Procuement of Innovation: find your study course
<p>The growth of procurement and attracting future leaders can be enhanced through the visibility of procurement education. With the goal to map procurement education, PROCEDIN surveyed universities across Europe. The project partners compiled data on <a href="https://procedin.eu/database-of-european-education-provision/">European universities that provide master’s or bachelor’s level education in procurement</a>, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. BALTRAD_VPTS - Vertical profiles of biological targets derived from European weather radars
<p><em>BALTRAD_VPTS - Vertical profiles of biological targets derived from European weather radars</em> is a vertical profile time series dataset published by the <a href="https://www.inbo.be/en">Research Institute for Nature and Forest (INBO)</a>. It contains animal movement data derived from 151 European weather radars in 18 countries, with varying coverage from 2012 to 2023. These data were created by processing weather radar data - provided by the Operational Programme for the Exchange of Weather Radar Information (<a href="https://www.eumetnet.eu/activities/observations-programme/current-activities/opera/">OPERA</a>) - with methods optimized for extracting bird targets. The resulting data are vertical profile time series (VPTS), containing the density, speed and direction of biological targets within a weather radar (<code>radar</code>) volume, grouped into altitude bins (<code>height</code>) and measured over time (<code>datetime</code>). The data are also available in the <a href="https://aloftdata.eu/browse/?prefix=baltrad/">Aloft bucket</a>.</p> <div> <div>See Desmet et al. Data set associated to the manuscript entitled Carbon emissions from inland waters may be underestimated: evidence from European river networks fragmented by drying by López-Rojo et. al
<p>CO2 and CH4 emissions and several associated environmental variables were taken in 6 European drying river networks, in 20 river reaches per river network. The field work was carried across 3 sampling campaigns in 2021, coinciding with 3 hydrological seasons (pre-dry, dry and post-rewetting) to encompass most of the hydrological variability. Each time, measures were taken in the habitats available (flowing water, dry riverbeds, isolated pools).</p>

ResCult European Interoperable Database
<p>ResCult - Increasing Resilience of Cultural heritage: a supporting decision tool for the safeguarding of cultural assets.</p> <p> </p> <p>The overall objective of RESCULT is to enhance the capability of Civil Protection (CP) to prevent and mitigate impacts of disasters on sites of Cultural Heritage (CH). This will be done through the realization of an integrated European Interoperable Database (EID) for CH, designed to provide a unique framework for CP, national Ministries of CH, the European Union (EU), local authorities. Percentage of Population Who Read Books In European Regions
<p>The indicator is created from the Eurobarometer 79.2 survey’s <a href="https://search.gesis.org/research_data/ZA5688">GESIS datafile</a> using regional subsamples. The regional subsamples were recoded to the NUTS 2016 regional boundary definitions with the <a href="https://regions.dataobservatory.eu/">regions</a> R package. In the larger countries, where only NUTS1 level information was present (for example, in Germany and the United Kingdom), we imputed the NUTS1 territorial average values to the constituent NUTS2 regions.</p> <p>A ‘dirty averaging’ was used to create regional averages, with scale national post-stratification weights to an expected value of 1.
