G. multilineatus, the type series of which was destroyed by fire in the Museu Bocage (Broadley 2007). Griffin (2003) reassessed and recognized the nomen G. auritus as a valid species (Bates et al. 2014) as did Broadley and Cotterill (2004) and Broadley (2007). According to Bates et al.
