Tengu Mask

Felt like making a Tengu mask while I was working on character models for a project. Since it has no use for the gig I am working on, other than being an easter egg. I thought I could post it on here. Eye brows and the band behind the mask can be adjusted. May it frighten bad spirits and bring you good luck. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Louise, Queen of Prussia (death mask)

This is a cast taken from the death mask of Queen Louise. The original mask was produced by the sculptor Christian Philipp Wolff right after the death of Queen Louise in 1810. Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, usually simply referred to as Queen Louise, was very famous and being idealised. Part of the sculpture collection at the city museum of Berlin, Germany. The collection consists of 3.000 objects of which a third are portrait busts of famous Berlin artists, scholars, politicians and rulers. Model: The model is based only on 48 photographs taken from one angle in order to test the platform and RealityCapture. This results in some irregularities at the top of the head. ____________________________________________________________ See the object in our database: https://sammlung-online.stadtmuseum.de/Details/Index/176640 More about Queen Louise: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louise_of_Mecklenburg-Strelitz CC-BY-Attribution: Stadtmuseum Berlin | Oliver Ziebe Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

My take on a Japanese "Inari" mask traditionally worn during festivals. The Inari is a Shinto god of fertility and agriculture. During many festivals, Japanese people will often wear fox masks in the Inari's likeness as a fun way to celebrate. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
