Compilation of data collected in surveys on the WissKI-based 3D Repository with DFG 3D-Viewer project partners and architecture students from the Warsaw University of Technology and the Technical University of Łódź
<p>The dataset contain the compiliation of responses from users of WissKI-based 3D Repository (https://3d-repository.hs-mainz.de/)., which is the open platform for deposit of 3D models of cultural heritage. The beta version of the WissKI 3D Repository, initiated in June 2022, has been subjected to evaluation by two primary target groups since its launch. The initial group, composed of students in the cultural heritage domain, was tasked with showcasing the importance of documenting and publishing 3D models of digital reconstructions. The survey with sutdents was conducted for three different classes: </p> <p>1) In summer 2022 with bachelor architectrue students at Warsaw University of Technology during seminar of choice regarding digital reconstruction of wooden synagogues;</p> <p>2) In summer 2023 with bachelor architectrue students at Warsaw University of Technology, and master students from Technology University of Łódź during seminar of choice regarding digital reconstruction of wooden synagogues;</p> <p>3) In autumn 2023 during international workshop about digital 3D heritage of CoVHer project with studnets of architecture from Warsaw Univeristy of Technology, Alma Mater Studiorum – Universita di Bologna, Facoltà di Architettura di Porto and Hochschule Mainz - University of Applied Sciences, as well as archaeology studnets from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.</p> <p>The second group, comprising digital 3D cultural heritage professionals, predominantly focused on archiving digital assets. Participants were project partners of DFG 3D Viewer project, which were professionals from the Institute of Archaeology at University Cologne, the Institute of Art History at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, the Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Planning Department of BTU Cottbus Senftenberg, and the Detushce Museum. They were asked for evaluaton of system after three differetn stages of work: at the begging wihtout any introduction to the system, after proivision of intorudctionary materilas and finally at the end of work.</p> <p>All participants were requested to report their experiences across four categories: metadata form, 3D viewer, provided guidelines, and overall experience. A 5-point rating scale was employed to assess specific issues, with 1 being the most negative and 5 being the most positive. The form length question was an exception, where a median value of 3 was considered ideal, and extreme values indicated either excessive length or brevity.</p>

Conceptual Change Texts in Computer Science to Expand Students' Conceptions on the Topic of Artificial Intelligence
<p><strong><span>General information on the survey and cohort</span></strong></p> <p><span>The present data were collected in 2023 at a secondary school in Hamburg. A questionnaire was used as a pre- and post-test in computer science courses in years 10 and 11 to investigate the agreement with various items and how this changed. The questionnaires were transferred to SPSS for analysis.</span></p> <p><span>76 students aged 15-17 took part in the survey and the teaching intervention. This data set only contains the data that is available in full. It therefore includes the responses of 69 students, of which a total of 22 felt assigned to the female gender and 47 to the male gender.</span></p> <p> </p> <h3><span>Data set</span></h3> <p><span>The data is purely quantitative, as this is only the evaluation of the pre- and post-test and not the evaluation of the conceptual change texts themselves. The item list is made up of 20 items relating to artificial intelligence, which were drawn up according to the Big Ideas of the AI4K12 initiative [1]. The students' perceptions of the items come from various past studies that have surveyed students' conceptions of AI.</span></p> <p><span>The data has a pseudonymized code that can be linked to the conceptual change text of the experimental group and the data can be assigned accordingly. The data is also divided into the experimental group (abbreviation 2) and the control group (abbreviation 1) so that a comparison between the groups is quickly possible. The abbreviation W in front of the items stands for a “true” statement and SV for “student conception”. A Likert scale from 0 - does not apply at all to 3 - applies completely was used.</span></p> <p><span>The data set is cleansed data. Data from: Variations in regional white matter volumetry and microstructure during the post-adolescence period: a cross-sectional study of a cohort of 1,713 university students
<p>Human brain white matter undergoes a protracted maturation that continues well into adulthood. Recent advances in diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) methods allow detailed characterisations of the microstructural architecture of white matter, and they are increasingly utilised to study white matter changes during development and ageing. However, relatively little is known about the late maturational changes in the microstructural architecture of white matter during post-adolescence. Here we report on regional changes in white matter volume and microstructure in young adults undergoing university-level education. As part of the MRi-Share multi-modal brain MRI database, multi-shell, high angular resolution DWI data were acquired in a unique sample of 1,713 university students aged 18 to 26. We assessed the age and sex dependence of diffusion metrics derived from diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and neurite orientation dispersion and density imaging (NODDI) in the white matter regions as defined itein the John Hopkins University (JHU) white matter labels atlas. We demonstrate that while regional white matter volume is relatively stable over the age range of our sample, the white matter microstructural properties show clear age-related variations. Globally, it is characterised by a robust increase in neurite density index (NDI), and to a lesser extent, orientation dispersion index (ODI). These changes are accompanied by a decrease in diffusivity. In contrast, there is minimal age-related variation in fractional anisotropy. There are regional variations in these microstructural changes: some tracts, most notably cingulum bundles, show a strong age-related increase in NDI coupled with decreases in radial and mean diffusivity, while others, mainly cortico-spinal projection tracts, primarily show an ODI increase and axial diffusivity decrease. These age-related variations are not different between males and females, but males show higher NDI and ODI and lower diffusivity than females across many tracts. These findings emphasize the complexity of changes in white matter structure occurring in this critical period of late maturation in early adulthood.</p>

Psychological Well-being, Food Insecurity, Academic Performance, and Other Risk Factors in a Sample of College Students in Jordan during Covid-19
<p>This research investigated the occurrence of psychological well-being perception and its relationship with food insecurity, academic performance, and other correlates in a sample of university students in Amman, Jordan during Covid-19. A cross-sectional study was conducted in two phases. Phase-1 translated and validated an Arabic version of the Psychological General Wellbeing Index-Short version (PGWB-S) in 122 students from the University of Jordan. In Phase-2, 414 students completed demographic questionnaire, Arabic Versions of the PGWB-S, Ryff Psychological Wellbeing Scale, and Individual Food Insecurity Experience Scale.</p> <p>Ethical considerations: This manuscript has been read and approved by all authors. The authors confirm that there are no other persons, who satisfied the criteria for authorship, but are not listed. The order of authors listed in the manuscript has been approved by all of them. El profesor estima la competencia en 5 áreas (Social, Matemáticas, Lengua Española, Lengua Valenciana y Educación Física), la presencia de necesidades educativas (motrices, intelectuales, auditivas, visuales, de lenguaje, de aprendizaje, de conducta, de desarrollo y de altas capacidades), y el tipo de apoyo recibido y con qué periodicidad (pedagogía terapéutica, educación compensatoria, audición y lenguaje y refuerzo educativo). La información se recogió a través de entrevistas a profesores tutores de colegios públicos de Castellón (España) en el otoño del curso escolar 2012-13 y se recopiló en este Informe de Datos Descriptivos, Competencias y Necesidades Educativas del Alumno (STUDENT-INFORM) (García Bacete et al., 2014). El fichero de datos también incluye información sobre las preocupaciones que algunos alumnos generan en el profesor en diferentes ámbitos (relacional, conductual y académico) y los motivos concretos por los que estos alumnos preocupan al profesor, recopilados en el Informe del grupo de clase y del profesor (CLASSROOM-INFORM) (García Bacete et al., 2014). Competences and Needs of Students and Support Received. / Competencias y Necesidades de los Alumnos y Apoyos que Reciben // STUDENT-INFORM_Data_CC-CS_T6-Pre
<p>Information provided by the teacher on the competencies, needs and individual supports of the students in his/her classroom. The teacher estimates the competence in 5 areas (Social, Mathematics, Spanish Language, Valencian Language and Physical Education), the presence of educational needs (motor, intellectual, hearing, vision, hearing and language, learning, behavioral, developmental, and high abilities), and the type of support received and with what periodicity (therapeutic pedagogy, compensatory education, hearing and language and educational reinforcement). The information was collected through interviews with tutor teachers from public schools in Castellón and Seville (Spain) in the fall of the school year 2014-15 and compiled in this Descriptive Data, Competencies and Educational Needs of the Student Report (STUDENT-INFORM) (García Bacete et al., 2014). The dataset also includes information on the worries that some students generate in the teacher in different areas (relational, behavioral, and academic) and the specific reasons why these students worry the teacher, compiled in the Class Group and Teacher Report (CLASSROOM-INFORM) (García Bacete et al., 2014).
