<p>This record contains raw data of a 3-month monitoring period of the HeLLo project.</p> <p>The datafiles titled MeasLog_YYYY-MM-DD.dat correspond to the raw data used for the data analysis presented in “Hygrothermal analysis at critical points of an internally insulated historic wall without vapour barrier: in situ measurements and dynamic simulation”, submitted for publication in journal <em>energies</em>.</p> <p>Each file, format MeasLog_YYYY-MM-DD.dat, corresponds to daily registered data monitored every minute.</p> <p>Each file, format MeasLog_YYYY-MM-DD.dat, contains temperature (T) and relative humidity (RH) values, monitored through T-RH sensors (Telaire T9602; Amphenol). The general architecture of the acquisition system is based on a Master Slave configuratio, as described in “Development of a Compatible, Low Cost and High Accurate Conservation Remote Sensing Technology for the Hygrothermal Assessment of Historic Walls” (doi:10.3390/electronics8060643).</p> <p>Each file, format MeasLog_YYYY-MM-DD.dat is a text-based DAT file and can be opened with a standard text editor.</p>

<p>This archive contains supplementary materials for the published manuscript.</p> <p>We report results from the first comprehensive total quality evaluation of five major indicators in the U.S. Census Bureau's Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) Program Quarterly Workforce Indicators (QWI): total flow-employment, beginning-of-quarter employment, full-quarter employment, average monthly earnings of full-quarter employees, and total quarterly payroll. Beginning-of-quarter employment is also the main tabulation variable in the LEHD Origin-Destination Employment Statistics (LODES) workplace reports as displayed in OnTheMap (OTM), including OnTheMap for Emergency Management. We account for errors due to coverage; record-level non-response; edit and imputation of item missing data; and statistical disclosure limitation. The analysis reveals that the five publication variables under study are estimated very accurately for tabulations involving at least 10 jobs. Tabulations involving three to nine jobs are a transition zone, where cells may be fit for use with caution. Tabulations involving one or two jobs, which are generally suppressed on fitness-for-use criteria in the QWI and synthesized in LODES, have substantial total variability but can still be used to estimate statistics for untabulated aggregates as long as the job count in the aggregate is more than 10.</p>

York Archaeological Trust 1975.18.III.176 Archaeological 3D Use-wear Raw Measurements
<p>This dataset contains the 121 raw measurements/scans taken before the mesh creation step for object 1975.18.III.176 in the collections of York Archaeological Trust.</p> <p>1975.18.III.176 is a mortarium of North Gaulish White ware 4 (Tomber and Dore 1998, 75, NOG WH 4) that has experienced modern reconstruction.</p> <p>Data was captured using a Zeiss Comet L3D 2 5M at 100 FOV to enable the analysis of use-wear on archaeological objects. The model is scaled in millimetres.</p> <p>This dataset consists of 370,399,732 points - additional metadata included in associated spreadsheet.</p>

The data includes 76 companies listed on the A+H share markets that were subject to the new auditing standards in 2017. It also includes 76 companies listed on the A share market which were matched with the experimental sample using the Propensity-Score Matching method. Files include 2016 & 2017 cumulative abnormal returns (CAR) and volatility (Vol) for the experimental group (A+H shares) and the control group (A shares) and control variables for both groups.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
Residual stresses in clad pressure vessel steel measured by contour method
<p>Data from contour method cut surfaces of low alloy steel plates clad in stainless steel. Two plates, each measuring 300 mm (length) x 200 mm (width) x 20 mm (thickness), were extracted from the outer cylindrical structure of a nuclear steam generator. The material was forged 18MND5 (French designation equivalent to A 508 Gr.3 Cl. 1). Stainless steel beads were then deposited, by submerged arc strip cladding, on the plates. One plate was clad in a single layer of AISI 309L, the second one was clad with a double layer, 309L followed by 308L. The datasets are in the form of lists of x, y, z coordinates, with one point per line, whitespace delimited in millimetres. Each cut has four files associated to it, two for each cut surface. For each surface, there is an outline file identifying the cut surface periphery and a points file containing the points lying on the surface. Two .mat files have also been uploaded, with the results from the analyses on the single and double layer clad plates.</p> <p>These measurements are part of a broader experimental investigation to better understand the role of residual stresses in underclad cracking. The contour method was used to characterise residual stresses in conjunction with neutron diffraction measurements. The details of the experimental procedure and other information will be found in the paper “Internal stresses in a clad pressure vessel steel during post-weld heat treatment and their relevance to underclad cracking" Cattivelli et al., soon to be published.</p>

Trace gas mixing ratios measured over the Southern Ocean in the austral summer of 2016/2017, during the Antarctic Circumnavigation Expedition.
<p><strong>Dataset abstract</strong></p> <p>The authors would highly appreciate to be contacted if the data is used for any purpose.</p> <p>We measured mixing ratios of CO, CO<sub>2</sub> and CH<sub>4</sub> with a PICARRO G2401 Gas Analyzer. Ozone (O<sub>3</sub>) mixing ratios were measured with a 2B Technology ozone monitor, model 205. We report five-minute averaged data cleaned from exhaust gas influence. Temporal coverage is from December 20, 2016 to April 10, 2017.</p> <p>The trace gas concentrations represent a large number of atmospheric processes that happen on different time scales. CO for example, has basically no sources other than combustion and can hence be used as tracer for air mass transport from regions with combustion activities (e.g., South Africa). CO has a lifetime of a few weeks. CO<sub>2</sub> and CH<sub>4</sub> are longer-lived trace gases which disperse globally. The data set shows that concentrations in the Northern Hemisphere are higher than in the Southern Hemisphere. Both trace gases are emitted by anthropogenic activities as well as natural sources. Over the cruise track, areas of the Southern Ocean were passed where these trace gases either outgas or are absorbed. Ozone is a secondary trace gas, meaning that it is formed in the atmosphere. PsPM-SC2F: SCR, ECG, PPU and respiration measurements from a delay fear conditioning task with auditory CS, performed during MRI scanning
<p>This dataset includes skin conductance response (SCR), electrocardiogram (ECG), peripheral pulse unit (PPU) and respiration measurements for 18 healthy unmedicated participants (9 females and 9 males, age range: 18 - 34 years, mean age: 24.8 +/- 4.2) participating in a classical (Pavlovian) discriminant delay fear conditioning experiment with auditory CS, during MRI scanning. Also included are CS and US information, and ratings of CS after the experiment. Simple and complex CS were simple sine tone (4 s), and up or down frequency sweep sounds, respectively. US was a train of electric square pulses delivered with a constant current stimulator (Digitimer DS7A, Digitimer, Welwyn Garden City, UK) on participants' dominant forearm through a pin-cathode/ring-anode configuration. After the fear conditioning task, participants were first asked to report their subjective estimate of how likely they were to receive a shock after a given CS in the future, on a visual analogue scale of 0-100. Then they were asked to rate pairs of CS sounds with respect to which of the two stimuli they liked less.</p>
Performance measurements for in-depth energy analysis of security algorithms and protocols for the Internet of Things
<p>Performance dataset of cryptographic algorithms running on the following embedded devices (results in ms):</p> <p><strong>nuc </strong>The NUCLEO-L073RZ is a STM32 Nucleo-64 Development Board of STMicroelectronics. It features the STM32L073RZT6 32~MHz ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller with 192~KB flash memory and 20~KB RAM.<br> <strong>msp </strong>The TI SimpleLink MSP-EXP432P401R development kit uses the MSP432P401R 48~MHz ARM Cortex-M4F microcontroller with 256~KB flash and 64~KB RAM.<br> <strong>max </strong>The MAXREFDES\#100 health sensor platform features the MAX32620 96~MHz ARM Cortex-M4F microcontroller with 2~MB flash and 256~KB RAM. It has a wide range of sensors, like a human body temperature sensor and a heart rate sensor.</p> <p>The measured cryptographic operations:</p> <ul> <li><strong>The basic arithmetic operations for elliptic curve cryptography </strong>(point addition~(PA), point doubling~(PD), point multiplication~(PM), and fixed-point multiplication~(PMG))</li> <li><strong>The AES symmetric-key cipher in five modes of operations</strong> (Electronic Codebook (ECB), Cipher Block Chaining (CBC), Counter (CTR), Counter with CBC-MAC (CCM), and Galois/Counter Mode (GCM))</li> <li><strong>Hash functions </strong>(SHA256 and SHA3-256)</li> </ul> <p>The performance of all identified basic operations is measured on the three platforms. 50 time measurements are done for each basic operation using the platforms' available timer. Moreover, the AES cipher operation is an encryption on 256 Bytes of data. We have chosen a multiple of the AES block size, because, longer time periods ensure less influence of potential timing inaccuracies like an early start and late end. For the hash function, the maximum input size of the respective algorithm for one round is chosen as follows: 55~B for SHA256 and 135~B for SHA3-256. The total available internal state size is not used for SHA256 and SHA3-256, as we take into account the minimal padding or suffix that is required for the last block of input data. Note that the most optimal scenario, i.e. the maximum amount of input data to fill up the internal state completely, is used for each of the operations.</p> <p>All basic operations are implemented using software libraries and cross-compiled with the GNU Tools for ARM Embedded Processors version 6-2017-q2-update. Furthermore, the compiler is configured to optimise for size (-Os). The RELIC-toolkit library is used to implement the EC arithmetic and the SHA256 hash function. We use the SECG K-256 prime elliptic curve, BASIC;COMBA;COMBA;MONTY;MONTY;SLIDE configuration for the prime field arithmetic, and PROJC;LWNAF;COMBS;INTER}} configuration for the prime elliptic curve arithmetic. For more information on how to configure RELIC and other examples that use it, we refer to the relic-toolkit wiki. The AES ciphers are implemented using Mbed TLS and SHA3 using wolfCrypt. We use the SHA3-256 hash function as specified in FIPS PUB 202.</p>

<p>Data from a survey of nitrogen content in farmed Atlantic Salmon.</p> <p>This is a reduced data set derived from data obtained in a published survey: See Colwell, P., Ellison, S. L. R., Walker, M. J., Elahi, S., Burns, D. T., & Gray, K. (2011). Nitrogen Factors for Atlantic Salmon, Salmo salar, farmed in Scotland and in Norway and for the derived ingredient, “Salmon Frame Mince”, in Fish Products. <em>Journal of the Association of Public Analysts (Online)</em>, <em>39</em>, 44.</p> <p>The data set is reduced by a) restriction to fillet and whole fish (omitting frame mince), b) restriction to nitrogen and fat content c) averaging of duplicate original observations. The reduced data set forms a complete full factorial design on five factors affecting nitrogen content.</p> <p>The data set is in the tab-delimited text file Salmon_N_means_FW.txt; Data field descriptions are provided in Salmon_N_means_FW_fields.txt.</p>
Photos and measurements of otoliths from fish caught in the southern part of the North Sea
<p><em>Photos and measurements of otoliths from fish caught in the southern part of the North Sea</em> is a photo dataset published by the <a href="https://www.inbo.be/en">Research Institute for Nature and Forest (INBO)</a>. It contains photos of fish otoliths – taken by a binocular microscope on a black background and edited to include a ruler – and measurement/reference data for these otoliths and fish. The dataset can be used as reference data to identify fish species in the southern part of the North Sea based on their otoliths, e.g. dietary/food ecology research of seabirds.</p> <p><strong>Files</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>reference_data.csv</strong>: Fish information (scientific name, sampling information, length) and otolith measurements (width/height). Each row corresponds to a fish, which <code>fish_id</code> can be found in the otolith photo name.</li> <li><strong>Scientific name.zip</strong>: Photos of otoliths, grouped by species. Photo names are of the form <code>fish_id_suffix.jpg</code>, where <code>suffix</code> indicates if it was a left (<code>Lx</code>) or right (<code>Rx</code>) sagittal otolith or a smaller lapillus/asteriscus (<code>Bx</code>) otolith.</li> </ul>
