ULYSSES JUPITER SOLAR CORONA EXPER. RANGING DATA 10 MIN AVG
The Ulysses spacecraft was occulted by the Io Plasma Torus (IPT) during its Jupiter encounter on 8 February 1992. The Ulysses dual-frequency radio subsystem used by the Ulysses Solar Corona Experiment (SCE) was utilized to measure the electron content (column density) of the IPT. In the nominal mode for radio-sounding observations, both downlinks (S-band: f_s = 2.3 GHz X-band: f_x = 8.4 GHz) are phase coherent with the uplink (S-band: f_u = 2.1 GHz). The dual-frequency radio-sounding technique exploits the dispersive nature of ionized media on the propagation of the two downlinks. The tiny Doppler shift due to plasma moving in and out of the ray path is greater at S-band than at the higher frequency X-band.

GALILEO NIMS EXPERIMENT DATA RECORDS: JUPITER OPERATIONS
NIMS Experiment Data Record (EDR) files contain raw data from the Galileo Orbiter Near-Infrared Mapping Spectrometer (CARLSONETAL1992). This raw data requires considerable processing before it is readily amenable to science analysis. The EDRs comprise the base dataset from which spectral image cubes will be created by continually evolving software using successively more accurate calibration and geometry data.
VOYAGER 2 JUPITER MAGNETOMETER RESAMPLED DATA 9.60 SEC
This data set includes Voyager 2 Jupiter encounter magnetometer data that have been resampled at a 9.6 second sample rate. The data set is composed of 6 columns: 1) ctime - this column contains the data acquisition time. The time is always output in the ISO standard spacecraft event time format (yyyy-mm-dd-Thh:mm:ss.sss) but is stored internally in Cline time which is measured in seconds after 00:00:00.000 Jan 01, 1966, 2) br - this column contains the radial component of the magnetic field, 3) bphi - this column contains the phi component of the magnetic field, 4) btheta - this column contains the theta component of the magnetic field, 5) bmag - this column contains the magnitude of the magnetic field, 6) flag - a flag value that indicates either software error or spacecraft hardware interference reduced confidence in this record (flag value of 1 is bad , 0 is good or unchecked). All magnetic field observations are measured in nanoTeslas. The coordinate system for this dataset is Minus System III. All of the magnetic field data are calibrated (see the instrument calibration description for more details). JUNO JUPITER UVS 3 REDUCED DATA RECORD V1.0
The Juno Ultraviolet Spectrograph (UVS) CODMAC Level 3 Reduced Data Record is a collection of the far ultraviolet photon detections obtained by the UVS instrument, corrected for instrumental effects, radiometrically calibrated, and correlated with the auxiliary information needed to locate the observations in space and time. These data are organized, in a manner very similar to the RDR product files from which they are derived, into extensions within files formatted according to the Flexible Image Transport System (FITS) standard, version 2.1b. The UVS RDR archive enables reprocessing of the corrected and calibrated science data into far ultraviolet map products as map processing routines improve. Investigators interested in applying advanced mapping methods or needing to understand the properties of the corrected and calibrated data will find the RDR products useful. Many investigators, however, will be interested in using the UVS CODMAC Level 5 far ultraviolet map products directly.

Investigators interested in applying advanced calibration methods or needing to understand the properties of the raw data will find the EDR products useful. Most investigators, however, will be interested in using either the UVS data products contained in the CODMAC Level 3 Reduced Data Record, as radiometric and geometric calibration processing has already been done for these products, or the UVS CODMAC Level 5 far ultraviolet map products.
VG1 LECP 48.0 SECOND JUPITER NEAR ENCOUNTER STEP DATA
This near encounter step data set consists of the counting rate and flux data for electrons and ions from the Low Energy Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 1 while the spacecraft was within the very close vicinity of Jupiter. This instrument measures the intensities of in-situ charged particles ( >15 keV electrons and >30 keV ions) with various levels of discrimination based on energy range and mass species. A subset of almost 100 LECP channels are included in this data set. The LECP data are globally calibrated to the extent possible. Particles include low energy electrons, protons, alpha particles, medium energy protons and ions, high energy and intensity protons, electrons, alpha particles, and Z >= nuclei. The near encounter data are 48.0 second rate and flux measurements within 1/8 of the LECP instrumental motor rotation period (the angular scanning periods, or step period).

GO JUPITER MAG MAGNETOSPHERIC SURVEY V1.0
This data set contains magnetic field vectors acquired by the Galileo Orbiter magnetometer during the magnetospheric survey portion of the mission. These data were acquired in the optimal averager (opt/avg) and real-time survey (RTS) modes beginning during the Jupiter approach and continuing throughout Jupiter orbital operations. The data set covers the time period from 1995-11-06T00:21:30 UT (Jupiter approach) until the end of mission (September 2003). Sampling rates are variable and depended upon the downlink capabilities. With few exceptions, the data are provided at the full downlink resolution. The data are provided in five coordinate systems (IRC, System III [1965], JSE, JSO, and JSM).
GO JUPITER EPD REFORMATTED HIGH RES SECTOR V1.0
This data set contains two versions of three different data file types. One version is a corrected form of the other ('C'). The corrected data are adjusted for minute gaps in between the detector cycles. This data ranges from the Io flyby (December 1995) to end of mission. All available motor positions are provided. Step 0, which looks behind the background shield, is included for an indication of the background penetration of the detector. The rates reported are in units of (counts/sec), pitch and phase angles are in (radians). The sectors are ordered in time

These measurements were taken during the Ulysses Jupiter encounter 1991-12-31 to 1992-02-16, and include 1 hour averaged inbound cruise data (1991-12-31 to 1992-02-01), and 15 minute averaged encounter data (1992-02-02 to 1992-02-16).
NEW HORIZONS SDC JUPITER ENCOUNTER RAW V4.0
This data set contains Raw data taken by the New Horizons Student Dust Counter instrument during the Jupiter encounter mission phase. This is VERSION 4.0 of this data set. For the Jupiter encounter mission phase, SDC collected no science data during the Jupiter flyby, as the requisite spacecraft configuration prevented SDC from operating. There were some very sparse data taken from December, 2006 through April, 2007, and some of very short (or zero) duration after the Jupiter flyby from April, 2007 through June, 2007. The changes in Version 4.0 were re-running of the ancillary data in the data product, updated geometry from newer SPICE kernels, minor editing of the documentation, catalogs, etc., and resolution of liens from the December, 2014 review, plus those from the May, 2016 review of the Pluto Encounter data sets. No new observations were added with Version 4.0.

This data set includes wideband waveform measurements from the Galileo plasma wave receiver obtained during Jupiter orbital operations. These data were obtained during selected observation periods near perijove, satellite encounters and other select times. These measurements are electric waveforms obtained by rapidly sampling the potential at the input to the receiver from the electric dipole antenna. The sample rates are 201,600/s, 25,200/s, or 3,150/s taken through bandpass filters of 80, 10, or 1 kHz, respectively.
