What does Google recommend when you want to compare insurance offerings? – A method and empirical study considering Google's top search results

<p>This dataset is part of a publication and shows Google&#39;s search results for German search queries&nbsp;on insurance comparison offerings.</p> <p>Relevant search queries were extracted from a commercial search engine log file consisting of more than 640,000 different search queries.&nbsp;From the log, we extracted a variety of query formulations for the same topic, i.e., queries containing the same word or phrase. The selection was based on pre-defined keywords in the context of insurance comparisons. The queries from the log file were automatically selected by combining the terms &quot;*insurance*&quot; and &quot;*comparison*&quot; (including left as well as right truncation). Examples of such inquiries are &quot;car insurance comparison&quot;, &quot;occupational disability insurance comparison&quot;, &quot;liability insurance in comparison&quot;. This procedure identified a total of 121 different search queries. Visual stimuli used in fMRI study on top-down feedback across cortical depths

<p>These videos contain samples of visual stimuli used in an fMRI study on top-down feedback across cortical depths in human early visual cortex [in preparation]. There is one video sample for each of the three experimental conditions in the main experiment: &lsquo;Pac-Man dynamic&rsquo;, &lsquo;Pac-Man static&rsquo;, and &lsquo;control dynamic&rsquo;. In addition, there are videos of stimuli used in a control experiment in which the shape of the stimulus (&lsquo;Pac-Man&rsquo; or square) and the background (texture or uniform) was varied. Please note that these videos are short sample segments from the experiment, and that in the actual experiment the rest blocks surrounding the stimulus presentations were much longer. <p>El dataset publicado parte de una extracci&oacute;n de las 200 frases m&aacute;s populares de la web analizada, y la informaci&oacute;n de cada una de ellas. En concreto mostramos el autor, fecha de nacimiento, muerte, ciudad y pa&iacute;s natal del autor, el texto de la frase, sus likes, tags y la fecha de la extracci&oacute;n. Estos datos se obtienen de una p&aacute;gina que muestra una gran bater&iacute;a de frases c&eacute;lebres ordenadas de forma descendente por likes, lo que nos permite obtener este top 200. Debido a que los datos de esta web se encuentran protegidos, para publicarlos hemos cambiado el nombre del autor por un c&oacute;digo num&eacute;rico y asignado un valor aleatorio entre 1000 y 3000 al campo likes. Adem&aacute;s, hemos reordenado la base por el valor de likes.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>The published dataset is based on an extraction of the 200 most popular quotes from the analyzed website, including detailed information about each quote. Specifically, we display the author, date of birth, date of death, birthplace city, and country, as well as the text of the quote, its number of likes, tags, and the extraction date. These data were obtained from a webpage showcasing a large selection of famous quotes sorted in descending order by likes, allowing us to capture this top 200 selection. Since the data on this site is protected, we have anonymized it by replacing the author's name with a numerical code and assigning a random value between 1000 and 3000 to the likes field. Additionally, we reordered the dataset by the likes value.</em></p>
