FIGURE 2 in A long history in a short note-identity and typification of the name Hippion obtusifolium F.W. Schmidt, and synonymy of the species Gentianella obtusifolia (Gentianaceae)

FIGURE 2. Schmidt´s second illustration (Schmidt 1796: tab. II, fig. 3) of Hippion obtusifolium. This does not belong to the original material and shows a plant with exclusively pentamerous corollae but again with calyces that could either be tetra- or pentamerous. The illustration was obtained from the original work stored in the Vienna University Library, Departmental Library Botany.

FIGURE 1 in A long history in a short note-identity and typification of the name Hippion obtusifolium F.W. Schmidt, and synonymy of the species Gentianella obtusifolia (Gentianaceae)

FIGURE 1. Schmidt´s first illustration (Schmidt 1793b: tab. 147) of Hippion obtusifolium cited in the protologue (Schmidt 1793a) and designated as lectotype by Skalický (1969). The illustration shows a plant with predominantly pentamerous corollae plus a single tetramerous one; the presumably unique copy is held by the National Library of the Czech Republic / Národní knihovna České republiky (16 AA 29/T. 2).

FIGURE 3 in A long history in a short note-identity and typification of the name Hippion obtusifolium F.W. Schmidt, and synonymy of the species Gentianella obtusifolia (Gentianaceae)

FIGURE 3. Voucher of Gentianella obtusifolia in PR (PR 134598) belonging to the herbarium of Philipp Maximilian Opiz. The handwritten label by Opiz gives Bergreichenstein [Kašperské Hory] as collecting locality, the name "Schmidt" in brackets possibly indicates that Opiz had obtained the voucher from Schmidt´s herbarium. It thus possibly belongs to the original material of Hippion obtusifolium F.W. Schmidt.

FIGURE 10 in The pest sap beetle Carpophilus Myothorax truncatus Murray, 1864 (Coleoptera Nitidulidae)-a new synonymy and a related new species of Carpophilus

FIGURE 10. Phylogenetic relationships of Carpophilus species from COI DNA sequences (Maximum Likelihood tree). New sequences obtained from Australian specimens in the present study are shown in bold text, with lifestages indicated. GenBank sequences are indicated by accession numbers in round brackets, with species identifications taken directly from GenBank, and countries of origin for the three C. dimidiatus complex species shown in square brackets. Additional sequences unable to be downloaded and included on this tree from the BOLD database match C. truncatus (>99%) originating from Israel (C. dimidiatus on BOLD, non-public data) and Carpophilus imitatus sp. nov. (100%) originating from Cambodia and South Korea (C. dimidiatus on BOLD, non-public data).
