How does servant leadership impact employee performance in a stateowned construction company? An analysis with organizational citizenship behavior as an intervening variable

<p>This study examines the pivotal role of leadership in organizational functioning, specifically examining its impact&nbsp;on enhancing employee performance. The research focuses on understanding and analyzing the influence of Servant&nbsp;Leadership on Employee Performance, with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) serving as the intervening&nbsp;variable. Employing a descriptive quantitative research design, the study encompasses employees from a State-Owned&nbsp;Construction Company in Jakarta, Indonesia. The research uses 100 samples. The research draws upon primary and&nbsp;secondary data derived from field studies and library research. Using path analysis, hypothesis testing, and the&nbsp;coefficient of determination as analytical tools, the findings reveal the significant influence of Servant Leadership (X)&nbsp;on both Employee Performance (Y) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (Z) at 10.1% and 58.2%, respectively.&nbsp;Furthermore, OCB (Z) exhibits a noteworthy effect on Employee Performance (Y) at 7.6%, while Servant Leadership&nbsp;(X) significantly impacts Employee Performance (Y) through OCB (Z) at 27.9%. The research results show that servant&nbsp;leadership has a significant and positive impact on employee performance, both directly and through OCB, highlight the&nbsp;potential to enhance organizational outcomes even beyond the percentages demonstrated in this study.</p>

4D flow evaluation of blood non-Newtonian behavior in left ventricle flow analysis

PMID: 33631666.</p> <p>Abstract</p> <p>Blood is generally modeled as a Newtonian fluid, assuming a standard and constant viscosity; however, this assumption may not hold for the highly pulsatile and recirculating intracavitary flow in the left ventricle (LV), hampering the quantification of fluid dynamic indices of potential clinical relevance. Herein, we investigated the effect of three viscosity models on the patient-specific quantification of LV blood energetics, namely on viscous energy loss (EL), from 4D Flow magnetic resonance imaging: I) Newtonian with standard viscosity (3.7 cP), II) Newtonian with subject-specific hematocrit-dependent viscosity, III) non-Newtonian accounting for the effect of hematocrit and shear rate. Analyses were performed on 5 controls and 5 patients with cardiac light-chain amyloidosis. In Model II, viscosity ranged between 3.0 (-19%) and 4.3 cP (+16%), mildly deviating from the standard value. In the non-Newtonian model, this effect was emphasized: viscosity ranged from 3.2 to 6.0 cP, deviating maximally from the standard value in low shear rate (i.e., &lt;100 s<sup>-1</sup>) regions. This effect reflected on EL quantifications: in particular, as compared to Model I, Model III yielded markedly higher EL values (up to +40%) or markedly lower (down to -21%) for subjects with hematocrit higher than 39.5% and lower than 30%, respectively. Accounting for non-Newtonian blood behavior on a patient-specific basis may enhance the accuracy of intracardiac energetics assessment by 4D Flow, which may be explored as non-invasive index to discriminate between healthy and pathologic LV.</p>

Identifying profiles of parental (de)motivating behaviors in youth sports through cluster analysis: A Multi-informant Approach

<p>Based on the perceptions of 331 youth athletes (<em>M</em><sub>age</sub>=14.33) and their most involved parent (<em>M</em><sub>age</sub> = 45.96), this study examined whether different profiles of parental behavior (i.e.,autonomy, competence, and relatedness supportive and thwarting) can be identified, to what extent these profiles match between the perceptions of athletes and parents, and how these profiles relate to youth athletes&rsquo; need-based experiences, (a)motivation, (dis)engagement, and anxiety regarding their sports participation. Cluster analysis identified four parental profiles based on both athlete and parent perceptions: parents who are relatively (1) need-supportive, (2) need-thwarting, (3) predominantly controlling, and (4) distant. In general, parents rated themselves as more motivating and less demotivating compared to the athlete&rsquo;s perception. Moreover, parents&#39; self-assessment had little to no predictive power in terms of the athlete&rsquo;s sports experience. However, athletes who perceived their parents as need-supportive displayed the most adaptive outcomes, whereas the opposite was true for the need-thwarting profile. The two other profiles were situated in between, with athletes in the predominantly controlling profile scoring high on both the adaptive and maladaptive outcomes, and athletes in the distant profile scoring low on the maladaptive outcomes but not necessarily high on the adaptive outcomes.</p>

The main routine for generating the ensembles is fidelity/run_fidelity.py. The folders &#39;dtgeostats&#39;, &#39;flowtrans&#39;, and &#39;hyvr&#39; contain utilities for generating parameter fields and running flow-and-transport simulations. Note that the codes and data are provided as-is and relative pathways, etc. in the code may not function correctly.
