3D scan of an underground room
First 3d scan made with a smartphone of an underground room thanks to the application "3D Live scanner" (pro) by Lubos Vonasek, after some experiments with the free version and not TOF equipped smartphone. Please activate "First Person" Navigation instead of Orbit in settings, and use arrows keys to move inside the model. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
London Underground Air Raid Shelter Final
When bombing began in September of 1939, thousands of Londoners took shelter in the Underground network, and the city started developing special deep-level shelters to house more civilians and government officials. Construction started in 1940 but was not completed until two years later. The tunnels were to be approximately 16 and a half feet wide and almost 1,200 feet long, slated to contain two levels each for medical stations, kitchens, sleeping quarters, and sanitation areas. They were originally meant to house around 9,600 people in each shelter for a total capacity of 96,000 between all 10 planned, but that number ended up closer to 8,000 per shelter, and only 8 of the 10 bunkers were completed. When bombing once again started to pick up in 1944 as the Allies invaded Germany, five of the shelters opened to the public. The station that I created here is meant to be one of the public Underground stations that inspired the deep-level project. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

FIGURE 2. Morphological structures of Caloglossa fonticola sp. nov. A. Vegetative thalli of C. fonticola. B. Thallus blades showing hardly or slightly constricted at nodes, and lateral axis (arrows) demonstrating significantly less growth than the main axis (arrowheads). C. Cell arrangement around a node. Nodal axial cell (diamond) and first axial cell (star) of the main axis (MA) both produced one secondorder cell row (arrows) and one third-order cell rows (arrowheads) on the opposite to the lateral branch (LA), all these cell rows reach to the blade margin. D. Nodal region of thallus illustrating the nodal axial cell (diamond) produces one cell row (arrowhead) on the abaxial side not extending to the margin, and the first axial cell of the lateral axis (asterisk) produces one cell row (arrow) on the adaxial side not extending to the margin. E-G Internodal blade. Each axial cell (a) produces one second-order cell row (arrows) that forms 1-3 third-order cell rows (arrowheads). H. Rhizoids at node showing each wing cell produces a single rhizoidal filament (white arrowheads). I. Rhizoids at node displaying the type B arrangement of Kamiya et al. (2003). Rhizoidal filaments (arrowheads) arising from wing cells near the main axis and lateral axis at the nodes. Scale bars: A = 1 cm, B = 1.0 mm, C and E = 200 μm, D, F and G = 20 μm, H and I = 100 μm.
