replica of figurine venus from mold fragments
<p>The mold is from the Museum of Ceramic Techniques collection in Koło, Poland. The mold fragments were brought to the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland, to recreate the figurine venus from the mold. The dataset was used for 3D printing the mold and recreating the figurine. Reverse engineering was done by combining both digital and manual technologies to manufacture the mold and make the figurine replica. The work has been presented at "Manufacturing of Ceramic Venus Figurine Replica from a Mold by Combining Traditional and Digital Technologies" (Heritage Science)</p>
