The European Vegetation Archive (EVA)
The European Vegetation Archive (EVA) is an initiative of European Vegetation Survey aimed at establishing and maintenance of a single data repository of vegetation-plot observations (i.e. records of plant taxon co-occurrence at particular sites, also called phytosociological relevés) from Europe and adjacent areas and to facilitate the use of these data for non-commercial purposes, mainly academic research and applications in nature conservation and ecological restoration. The initiative follows the EVA Data Property and Governance Rules. It closely cooperates with the Global Index of Vegetation-Plot Databases (GIVD), the Global Vegetation Database (sPlot) and the Plant Trait Database (TRY). <p></p>http://euroveg.org/eva-database<p></p>

50 Years of Art Song & Gender on Major European Stages, Part 1 (Austria): Vienna's Konzerthaus, Musikverein & Salzburg Festspiele Song Recitals 1970 - 2020
<p>3 .csv files containing names, years and gender breakdown (m=male, f=female, b=both) of pianists, singers, and composers featured vocal recitals on the three most prestigious stages in Austria, the Musikverein an Konzerthaus in Vienna and at the Salzburger Festpiele between 1970 and 2020.</p> <p>Data was scraped by the author from the Festspiele digital archive (https://archive.salzburgerfestspiele.at/archiv), the concert archives of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien (https://www.musikverein.at/en/archive/) and the Konzerthaus databank (https://konzerthaus.at/datenbanksuche) and is part of an ongoing project to visibilize the gendered nature of collaborative piano at the most prestigious levels. Thanks to Diána Fuchs (https://diana-fuchs.com/) who assisted with the collection of the Musikverein data, with the support of Melanie Unseld at the Department of Musicology and Performance Studies at the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.</p>
European Spatial Survey (ESS): Effects of microplastics on microbial activity/community
<p>European spatial survey (ESS) comprised sampling of farmed soils along gradients of agricultural plastics (AP) use, soil management, and biogeography. Five European countries (Finland, FI; Spain, ES; Czech Republic, CZ; Norway, NO; Germany, DE) were selected for microbial experiment, and four field conditions were categorized: AP use, application of sewage sludge-derived biosolid, application of compost or digestate products (suspected to be contaminated by plastics), and control fields (no documented history of plastic exposure). We investigated the effects of LDPE-MPs and PBAT-BD-MPs in differret ESS soils, and the distinct responses of microbial activities (β-glucosidase, β-D-1,4-cellobiosidase, β-1,4-N-acetyl-glucosaminidase, and phosphatase) and communities (bacteria and fungi; diversity and relative abundances) were observed in 39 different soils.</p>
