Laboratory experiments on river alternate bars
<p>Experiments performed in a 24 m-long flume with fixed straight and fixed banks but erodible bed, showing the spontaneous formation of downstream-migrating alternate bars.</p> <p>The dataset provides measured properties of alternate bars at equilibrium depending on flow discharge.</p> <p>Experiments funded by the project: GLORI - Glaciers-to-rivers sediment transfer in Alpine basins (Autonomous Province of Bozen-Bolzano).</p> <p>For further information see "metadata.txt".</p>
