Investigation of the properties of conductivity signals in BK channels by Empirical Mode Decomposition
<p>The idea of the project is the comprehensive time-frequency analysis of ion current data registered from BK channels of the different cell lines and measured under the different experimental conditions. Decomposition of signals into individual frequency modes and application of non-linear measures in the form of Information Entropy or Hurst exponent to individual signal components will allow for a more detailed analysis of the information hidden behind the complex ionic conduction sequences. The sample data contains patch-clamp sequences. </p>
BK Channels activation by N-type Ca2+ channels in the dendrites of neocortical pyramidal neurons
<p>This dataset contains imaging and whole-cell electrophysiological recordings from neocortical layer-5 pyramidal neuron dendrites in brain slices of the mouse.</p><p>Somatic electrophysiological and dendritic imaging recordings were done at 20 kHz. Imaging recordings were done with ~2.5 µm nm pixel resolution. These correspond to:</p><ul><li>Voltage imaging (Figures 1 and 7)</li><li>Calcium imaging (Figures 2,3 and 4).</li></ul><p>This dataset is used in the paper:</p><p>Blömer LA, Giacalone E, Abbas F, Filipis L, Migliore M, Canepari M. <p>This is the detailed view of the large limestone slab bearing the rhino image, found in square Q56/33 and on level Pl. 2.2.1 of the excavation of Bad-Kösen-Lengefeld/Germany. The Reflectance Transformation Imaging technique was executed with the help of a RTI dome with a radius of 50cm. The camera used was a Nikon Z7 with a 50mm lens and 64 images were taken. The black sphere has a diameter of 2,5cm. The taking of the images and post-processing took place on 09.06.2021-10.06.2021.</p> <p>The limestone slab is in possession of the Institute of Prehistory of the University of Cologne, Germany.</p>
