Dataset de Terremotos en la Península Ibérica e Islas Canarias (Últimos 15 Días)
<p>El "Dataset de Terremotos en la Península Ibérica e Islas Canarias (Últimos 15 Días)" es un conjunto de datos que recopila información detallada sobre terremotos registrados en la Península Ibérica e Islas Canarias durante un período de tiempo específico que abarca los últimos 15 días desde que se ejecutó la recolección de los datos. Este conjunto de datos se enfoca en eventos sísmicos con una magnitud igual o superior a 1.5 en la escala sismológica de Richter o que han sido percibidos por la población local.</p><p>Cada entrada en el dataset proporciona datos esenciales, incluyendo la descripción del evento, la fecha y hora en la que ocurrió en Coordinación Universal (UTC), la hora local ajustada según la ubicación geográfica precisa, las coordenadas de latitud y longitud donde se originó el terremoto, la profundidad del foco, la magnitud en la escala de Richter, el tipo de magnitud utilizada, la intensidad máxima registrada y detalles sobre la localización geográfica exacta del evento.</p><p>Este conjunto de datos se actualiza periódicamente para garantizar que los datos sean relevantes y actuales, lo que lo convierte en una valiosa fuente de información para el estudio de la actividad sísmica en la región. Los datos recopilados son esenciales para comprender la sismicidad en la Península Ibérica e Islas Canarias, así como para abordar temas relacionados con la seguridad, la mitigación de riesgos y la investigación en el campo de la sismología.</p>

Songs were recorded in a sound-isolation chamber using a RODE M3 microphone, an external sound card for microphone amplification (M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R), and the software Sound Analysis Pro 2011 (SAP). SAP parameters were set with conservative thresholds (software threshold to 4-6) in order to record the initiation of canary's songs which can be low in volume.</p> <p>Songs were hand labelled by one human expert using Audacity. They were then checked and corrected by another human expert assisted by an automated program based on recurrent neural networks (see References).</p> <p><strong>Dataset description</strong></p> <p>Canary songs are labeled using 27 different identified syllable classes + 1 "call" class identifying simple off-song calls + 1 "TRASH" class for irrelevant sounds (very rare vocalizations or non-bird sounds) + 1 "SIL" class for silence between vocalizations. Songs are annotated at the phrase level: a phrase consists of a repetition of a single syllable type and each phrase type is assigned a label.</p> <p>Annotations are provided in CSV format in the "M1-2016-spring_csv_annotations.zip" archive. There is one file per song, containing:</p> <ul> <li>a "wave" column indicating the song's audio filename;</li> <li>"start" and "end" columns indicating the temporal delimitation of the label from the begining of the song, in seconds;</li> <li>a "syll" column indicating the labels.</li> </ul> <p>Annotations are also provided in <a href="https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/importing_and_exporting_labels.html">Audacity TXT format</a> in the "M1-2016-spring_audacity_annotations.zip" archive. There is one file per song, containing three tabulation-separated columns. The first two column indicates the temporal delimitation (start and end) of the phrase from the begining of the song. The thrid one contains the associated label. Annotations filenames match corresponding song audio filename.</p> <p>Songs are provided in WAV format (44kHz sampling rate) in the "M1-2016-spring_audio.zip" archive. Seawater temperature data from Gando Bay (Gran Canaria, 25 and 40m depth) and Playa Chica (Lanzarote, 80m depth) in the Canary islands, collected using HOBO temperature loggers.
<p>Seawater temperature data collected using HOBO temperature loggers at three sites in the Canary Islands.</p> <p>Temperature data loggers were attached to 50 cm-long metal stakes partially buried into the seabed (Hobo data-logger Pendant Temp-Light, Onset Computer Corporation, USA), at 25 m and 40 m in Gando Bay (Gran Canaria; 27°55'56.1"N 15°21'11.0"W) and at 80 m in Playa Chica (Lanzarote; 28°55'04.7"N 13°40'11.8"W).</p> <p>- At 25 m, loggers were set up to record measurements every 2 hours, from October 9<sup>th</sup>, 2019, to June 3<sup>rd</sup>, 2020 (one logger, one dataset), and then every 15 minutes from June 3<sup>rd</sup>, 2020, to October 7<sup>th</sup>, 2021 (one logger, one dataset).</p> <p>- At 40 m, one logger was set up to take a measurement every 5 minutes (July 12<sup>th</sup> to August 25<sup>th</sup>, 2017, and September 21<sup>st</sup> to October 10<sup>th</sup>, 2018) (two loggers, two datasets).</p> <p>- At 80 m, one logger was set up to take a measurement every 4 hours, from January 10<sup>th</sup> to February 17<sup>th</sup>, 2021 (one logger, one dataset), and every 15 minutes from February 17<sup>th</sup> to October 19<sup>th</sup>, 2021 (one logger, one dataset).</p>
