Regular full triangulations of the 3-dilated 3-simplex

This dataset contains the 21 125 102 regular full triangulations of the 3-dilated 3-simplex, computed by mptopcom. The data is given up to symmetry, i.e. we have one triangulation from every orbit. The file `3d3.dat` is the input file for mptopcom, which was called with the `--regular` and `--full` flags. The output is in the file `3d3_regular_full.result.xz`.

Regular unimodular triangulations of the 3-dilated 3-simplex

This dataset contains the 14 373 645 regular unimodular triangulations of the 3-dilated 3-simplex, computed by mptopcom. The data is given up to symmetry, i.e. we have one triangulation from every orbit. The file `3d3.dat` is the input file for mptopcom, which was called with the `--regular` and `--full` flags. This output was then filtered by a perl script to receive the unimodular triangulations only. The output is in the file `3d3_regular_unimodular.result.xz`.

Dataset for Rate and Pressure Dependence of Dilatancy and Fault Strength in Partially-Drained Laboratory Fault Zones

The datasets for Affinito et al., 2024 manuscript. Each experiment is was collected on a 24-bit recorder and 16 channels for hydromechanical data. The purpose of these experiments was to document the transition in fault drainage state as a fuction of shearing rate. Samples were prepared from cores collected at the US-DOE Utah FORGE well 16A.

nNOS-expressing interneurons control basal and behaviorally evoked arterial dilation in somatosensory cortex of mice

Cortical neural activity is coupled to local arterial diameter and blood flow. However, which neurons control the dynamics of cerebral arteries is not well understood. We dissected the cellular mechanisms controlling the basal diameter and evoked dilation in cortical arteries in awake, head-fixed mice. Locomotion drove robust arterial dilation, increases in gamma band power in the local field potential (LFP), and increases calcium signals in pyramidal and neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS)-expressing neurons. Chemogenetic or pharmocological modulation of overall neural activity up or down caused corresponding increases or decreases in basal arterial diameter. Modulation of pyramidal neuron activity alone had little effect on basal or evoked arterial dilation, despite pronounced changes in the LFP. Modulation of the activity of nNOS-expressing neurons drove changes in the basal and evoked arterial diameter without corresponding changes in population neural activity.

Image database to supplement "Paulus, F.M. et al. Pain empathy but not surprise in response to unexpected action explains arousal related pupil dilation." (VIPER database)

This folder contains the 282 images of the "VIPER" database (visually-induced pain empathy repository) along with ratings of 24 independent raters. Details are described in the following publication:

Paulus, F.M., Müller-Pinzler, L., Walper, D., Marx, S., Hamschmidt, L., Rademacher, L., Krach, S., Einhäuser, W. Pain empathy but not surprise in response to unexpected action explains arousal related pupil dilation.

The material can be used for scientific purposes, provided this reference is appropriately cited. Please check the download site to get the up-to-date reference at the time of your publication.

Conditions are identified by the filename of the image, which consists of the number of the scenario (1-83) and the condition identifier:
pain
neut(ral)
mism(atch)
tool
Note that the tool and the mismatch condition do not exist for all scenarios.

The file ratings_viper.csv contains the ratings. Each image corresponds to a line, the columns are as follows:
Column 1: Filename of the image
Column 2: Scenario number
Column 3: condition
Columns 4 through 27: ratings of the 24 individuals (between 0 and 4, NaN if there was no rating recorded)

The file thumbnail_viper.jpg provides an overview over all images in the database.

For ease of download, the images are available as tar-archive (allImages_viper.tar) and as inidivual files.

Experimental datasets and CT-images for dilatant hardening study - Williams and French 2024

Experimental datasets include collected and calculated parameters for the suite of experiments conducted. CT image datasets are the raw core scans.

Black Hole and White Hole Time Dilation

This signifies the start of the experimental observation series on the white hole. The visibility of the Small Magellanic Cloud is based on the strong force's resonance effect, and is exemplified by the video. The M87 video mimics the shockwave arrival time via signal noise processing. The CMB is seen as a forward progress of time. The two phases of the moon by radiation are respectively from white hole and black hole's radiative processes on the sun and the moon.

Dogs' looking times and pupil dilation response reveal expectations about contact causality

Contact causality is one of the fundamental principles allowing us to make sense of our physical environment. From an early age, humans perceive spatiotemporally contiguous launching events as causal. Surprisingly little is known about causal perception in nonhuman animals, particularly outside the primate order. Violation-of-expectation paradigms in combination with eye-tracking and pupillometry have been used to study physical expectations in human infants. In the current study, we establish this approach for dogs (Canis familiaris). We presented dogs with realistic 3D animations of launching events with contact (regular launching event) or without contact between the involved objects. In both conditions, the objects moved with the same timing and kinematic properties. The dogs tracked the object movements closely throughout the study but their pupils were larger in the No-contact condition and they looked longer at the object initiating the launch after the No-contact event compared to the Contact event. We conclude that dogs have implicit expectations about contact causality.
