Mask at 300 m of water-body locations more than 5, 15 and 20 km distant from land
<p>Locations of water-body locations remote from land: This dataset is a latitude-longitude grid indicating the locations of water-body locations more distant from land than 5, 15 and 20 km. It is derived from Carrea et al., 2016, which in turn was derived from the ESA Climate Change Initiative for Land Cover Water Bodies product released in October 2014. 3 = distance greater than 20 km; >=2 = distance greater than 15 km; >=1 = distance greater than 5 km. Fig. 15 in Integrative description of Macrobiotus canaricus sp. nov. with notes on M. recens (Eutardigrada: Macrobiotidae)
Fig. 15. The Bayesian Inference (BI) phylogeny constructed from 18S rRNA sequences of the family Macrobiotidae. Numbers at nodes indicate the Bayesian posterior probability. Species of the hufelandi group with typical and atypical egg processes are indicated by blue and red fonts, respectively. The X. pseudohufelandi + M. polonicus clade, which is in a sister relationship to all other species of the hufelandi group, is indicated by green branches. See Table 2 and the Phylogenetic analysis subsection in Material and methods for details on species sequences used in the analysis. The remaining macrobiotids are marked with black and the outgroup is marked with grey. Scale bar represents substitutions per position.

Maps of depths are created for the site of 50 m length. Flow types are turbulent, broken standing waves, unbroken standing waves, and rippled. The average width was 8 m and varied from 5.5 to 12 m. Bed elements included bars, rocks, and step/pools. The average depth was 0.35 m, with a maximum of 0.6 m. The average velocity was 0.4 m/s, with a maximum of 1.2 m/s (figs 10). Distribution of bottom habitats at the locations with the crayfish are as follows: megalital — 5 %, macrolithal — 30 %, mesolithal — 25 %, microlithal — 15 %, psammal — 15 %, CPOM — 10 %.
