Photometric stereo data of non-crimp fabric boundaries
<p><strong>DATA DESCRIPTION</strong></p> <p>This data set was acquired in the context of EU project ZAero. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 721362. Project duration: 2016/10/01 - 2019/09/30. This data set contains a set of 68 HDF5 files from two different example surface patches of NCF carbon fiber fabrics.</p> <p>For more information about the HDF5 format, please visit the HDF5 Group website:<br> https://www.hdfgroup.org/solutions/hdf5/</p> <p>Each file contains data from a photometric stereo vision system [1]. Ancient Greek Literature for Advanced Data Processing: A Text Fabric Representation of Open Access Texts in TEI XML
<p>This data set contains a full conversion of Greek texts available in the Perseus Digital Library and the Open Greek and Latin Project to the Text Fabric data format. The main advantage of the Text Fabric datatype over the original TEI XML format is that it utilizes a strict separation of text and annotation in a flat data structure. At the same time, it permits multiple distinct formats of the same text as well as an unlimited depth of (embedded) annotations. Because of its flat data structure, it facilitates easy and clean procedures to analyze, transform, and enrich the available data. Many of these processes are very difficult to conduct while departing from the hierarchically organized XML tree representation.</p>

Raw data set: One-Step Fabrication of GeSn Branched Nanowires
<p>This is the raw data set for the publication titled " One-Step Fabrication of GeSn Branched Nanowires" in the journal Chemistry of Materials (<em>Chem. Mater.</em>201931114016-4024). Below is the abstract of the publicaiton.</p> <p>Abstract: We report for the first time the self-catalysed, single step growth of branched GeSn nanostructures by a catalytic vapour-liquid-solid (VLS) mechanism. These typical GeSn nanostructures consist of <111> oriented Sn rich (~8 at. %) GeSn “branches” grown epitaxially on GeSn “trunks”, with a Sn content of ~ 4 at. %. The trunks are seeded from Au<sub>0.80</sub>Ag<sub>0.20</sub> nanoparticles followed by the catalytic growth of secondary branches (diameter ~ 50 nm) from the excess of Sn on the sidewalls of the trunks, as determined by high resolution electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis. The nanowires, with <111> directed GeSn branches oriented at ~ 70 ° to the trunks, have no apparent defects or change in crystal structure at the trunk-branch interface; structural quality is retained at the interface with epitaxial crystallographic relation. Electrochemical performance of these highly ordered GeSn nanostructures were explored as a potential anode material for Li-ion batteries, due to their high surface to volume ratio and increased charge carrier pathways. The unique structure of branched nanowires led to high specific capacities comparable to, or greater than, conventional Ge nanowire anode materials and Ge<sub>1-<em>x</em>­</sub>Sn<em><sub>x</sub></em><sub>­</sub> nanocrystals.We report for the first time the self-catalysed, single step growth of branched GeSn nanostructures by a catalytic vapour-liquid-solid (VLS) mechanism. Transcripts of 28 interviews with researchers who fabricated data for an experiment
<p>For an experiment we recently conducted, we asked researchers to fabricate data for a Stroop experiment. The purpose of this experiment was to test whether we could use statistics to discern the fabricated data from genuine data we collected from Many Labs 3. We also interviewed the researchers about how they fabricated data, in order to learn how researchers actually fabricate data. We share these transcripts here for maximum reuse under a CC 0 license.</p> <p> </p>
Data for: Fabrication and characterization of antibacterial coatings using an amphoteric condensed tannin,Tanfloc
<p>This dataset presents comprehensive information on the development and characterization of antibacterial polyelectrolyte multilayer (PEM) coatings incorporating tanfloc, a plant-derived condensed tannin polymer with inherent antimicrobial properties. The dataset encompasses experimental data related to the fabrication of PEMs using tanfloc as either a polyanion or a polycation, expanding the versatility of this amphoteric polymer in PEM coatings. Typically, PEMs are formed by combining a polycation and a polyanion with complementary ionic groups. However, the unique amphoteric nature of tanfloc allows for the creation of PEMs utilizing only one of its functional groups, leaving the other functional group available for imparting antibacterial activity.</p> <p>The dataset includes details on the assembly of tanfloc-containing PEMs employing various counter-polyelectrolytes, including three poly-anionic glycosaminoglycans with varying charge densities, as well as the polycations N,N,N-trimethyl chitosan and polyethylenimine. The layer-by-layer assembly of PEMs is monitored using in situ Fourier-transform surface plasmon resonance (FT-SPR), confirming stable layer-by-layer construction. Surface chemistry is assessed through X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).</p> <p>Furthermore, this dataset provides insights into the biocompatibility of tanfloc-containing PEMs, demonstrating their support for mammalian cells. Most notably, the dataset includes extensive data on the antiadhesive and antibacterial properties of these coatings against common implant-associated pathogens, such as <em>Staphylococcus aureus</em> and <em>Pseudomonas aeruginosa</em>. The antibacterial effects observed are attributed to electrostatic interactions and the polyphenolic nature of tanfloc.</p>
