<div> <div>These folders contain the code and figures for experiments, data analysis and visualization of results associated with the paper "Quantifying international climate finance needs and its social and climate benefits".</div> <br> <div>The folder FullAdaptation contains the data needed to produce the figures reported in the main text assuming adaptation as in Agrawala et al.</div> <div>The folder WITCHAdaptation contains the data needed to produce the figures reported in the supplementary material and discussed in the context of alternative assumptions for adaptation modeling.</div> <br> <div>Each of these folders contains:</div> <div>- the original optimization experiments (with and without transfers under different inequality aversion levels);</div> <div>- the CRICE code which is used to simulate the obtained policies from the folders above;</div> <div>- folders containing figures (main/supp figures and optimization runtimes);</div> <div>- world-administrative boundaries shapefile (https://public.opendatasoft.com/explore/dataset/world-administrative-boundaries/export/);</div> <div>- script to compile the optimization version of CRICE (compile_run.sh). Why support International redistribution? Corruption and public support for aid in the eurozone: DATA
<p>What factors explain public support for international redistribution? While the European Union has sent billions of taxpayers' money to over indebted euro countries in an attempt to avoid an economic collapse, these transfers have encountered fierce resistance among both donor and recipient constituents. However, we know surprisingly little about why citizens support or oppose redistribution within the EU. This paper suggests that domestic levels of corruption and institutional quality may be one of the most important explanations for the great variation in public support for financial assistance, bailouts and aid. Using recent European Elections Survey data merged with data on regional level quality of government, we show that the effects of institutional quality are consistently stronger than macro-economic factors, including economic development, inequality or levels of public debt. We find strong evidence that citizens in low corrupt contexts are more likely to support financial assistance to fellow member states. The results have implications for future challenges in securing public support for EU economic integration as well as for our understanding of how and why corruption undermines society's collective action capacity.</p>

<p>This archive contains the supporting data for figures in the manuscript "Nonlinear internal wave mixing observations within the interior of a river plume" by Preston Spicer et al. (2025), submitted to Estuaries & Coasts. The file "GRL_figs.m" is a MATLAB script file which produces Figures 1 through 4 in the manuscript, taking the remaining files in this repository as input. Detailed comments are provided in the code describing how each figure is made. Variable names and units correspond to graphed data of each figure in manuscript. Full descriptions of research methods and results are included in manuscript.</p>
