Dataset for New Results on Tripod Packings

The files contain tripod packings obtained in the study "P.R.J. Östergård & A. Pöllänen, New results on tripod packings". More specifically, they prove the lower bounds in Table 5 of the paper. The two files contain sets of orbit representatives of codes and explicit packings in matrix form. For each type of symmetry, the results presented are for \(n = 3,4,\ldots\). Codewords are of the form \((x,y,z)\), where \(x,y,z \in \{0,1,\ldots ,n-1\}\). The symmetries are

\(r(x,y,z) = (z,x,y)\),

\(p(x,y,z) = (y,x,z)\),

\(o(x,y,z) = (n-1-x,n-1-y,n-1-z)\).

Tripod pot from Kalmar, Sweden
Late 16th – early 17th century red unglazed earthen ware. Tripod pot with tubular pipkin handle, used for food preparations or cooking. The pot was found during the large excavations outside Kalmar castle in the 1930's (Kalmar Slottsfjärd). The ceramic material from Kalmar Slottsfjärd contains one of North Europé's largest collections of complete and reconstructed ceramic pots and jugs. http://historiska.se/upptack-historien/object/121935 Fotogrammetri Xenter 3D-tekniker Midori Åstrand Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

TRIPOD - A Treadmill Walking Dataset with IMU, Pressure-distribution and Photoelectric Data for Gait Analysis

The peer-reviewed paper associated with this dataset can be found here. Please consider citing this when
re-using the dataset.

Inertial measurement units (IMUs) enable easy to operate and low-cost data recording for gait analysis. When combined with treadmill walking, a large number of steps can be collected in a controlled environment without the need of a dedicated gait analysis laboratory. In order to evaluate existing and novel IMU-based gait analysis algorithms for treadmill walking, a reference dataset that includes IMU data as well as reliable ground truth measurements for multiple participants and walking speeds is needed. This dataset contains data from of 15 healthy young adults who walked on a treadmill at three different speeds. Data was acquired using seven IMUs placed on the lower body, two different reference systems (Zebris FDMT-HQ and OptoGait) and two RGB cameras. Additionally, in order to validate an existing IMU-based gait analysis algorithm by using the dataset, an adaptable modular data analysis pipeline was built. Our results show close agreement between the Zebris and OptoGait systems (r=0.99), demonstrating the high quality of our reference data.
