Results of Survey on Playertypes by Gamification User Types Hexad Framework in Higher Education
<p>Survey on playertypes via the validated quesitonaire published in Krath, J., von Korflesch, H.F.O. (2021). Springer, Cham. https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-030-77277-2_18</p> <p>Between 25.01.23 and 08.02.23 students of the University of Lübeck, Germany were invited to fill out an online questionnaire. The acquisition was done by sending an email to the students. No incentive was offered for participation, except to find out at one's own expression at the end of the survey. In addition to the validated questions, this also included questions about gender and study area. All participants agreed to anonymous data collection and publication. Participants were also asked to confirm that they were completing the survey for the first time, otherwise the return was removed from the result set. </p> <p>The result set is formatted as CSV. Questions and identifiers of the data are shown in the first line.</p>
L3Pilot Global User Acceptance Survey, Second Phase Data
<p>The research leading to these results received funding from the European Commission Horizon 2020 programme under the project L3Pilot (L3Pilot.eu), grant agreement number 723051. The L3Pilot Global User Acceptance Survey investigated the acceptance of SAE Level 3 (L3) conditionally automated cars. Survey data was collected in two phases. This dataset contains the data from the second phase of the survey with responses collected from 9 countries on five continents. This document contains information about the survey methodology and coding of the variables. User requirements of Big Earth Data - Survey 2019
<p>The survey was conducted between November 2018 and May 2019 with the aim to find out how users working with large volumes of environmental data interact with data, what challenges they face and how they would like to use cloud-based data services in the future.</p> <p>The term Big Earth Data in this context refers to digital information about Earth, including observations, imagery, derived higher-level products, forecasts and analyses produced by computer models.</p> <p>The survey was conducted in collaboration with the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) and as part of a PhD thesis on "Big Data technologies for environmental and climate data" at University of Marburg, Germany.</p> <p>The results are published in form of two articles:</p> <ul> <li>Wagemann, J., Siemen, S., Seeger, B. and J. Audio Commons WP2 - Responses to user survey (Deliverable 2.1)
<p>These are the responses gathered from the user survey described in Deliverable 2.1 of the Audio Commons project.</p> <p>The survey contained 24 questions asking creatives working in music industry about various subjects like demographics, workflows they use and metadata they would like to use when searching for new audio content on the Web.</p> <p>The file formResponses.csv contains the actual responses, column names in the first row, fields separated by commas and enclosed in double quotes if needed (e.g., a comma was in the value).</p> <p>The Timestamp column contains the response timestamp, in DD/MM/YYYY hh:mm:ss format. </p> <p>Each other column is named as one of the survey questions and contain the corresponding responses.</p> <p>For the relevant context, please check the Audio Commons web page (http://www.audiocommons.org/) and specifically Deliverable 2.1.</p>

Survey of Electrical & Electronic Equipment (EEE) Sector Stakeholders & End Users of EEE regarding Circular Economy in the EEE Sector
<p>The data is the full results of surveys of stakeholders in the electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) value chain conducted as part of the Horizon 2020 funded <a href="https://c-serveesproject.eu/index.php">C-SERVEES project</a>. </p> <p>The purpose of the survey was to provide guidance for the successful implementation of circularity in the EEE sector, specifically to develop circular economy business plans for four items of equipment: printers (inc. toner cartridges); washing machines; televisions; and network monitoring equipment. The survey aimed to capture data on:</p> <ul> <li>Circular economy awareness;</li> <li>Current practices relating to circular economy; and</li> <li>Circular economy opportunities, barriers and enablers.</li> </ul> <p>Investigation of opportunities, barriers and enablers focused on technical, economic, socio-cultural, regulatory and environmental themes. In addition, background information was also collected to enable some of the attributes of the respondent to be recorded. This included: country; city, years of experience in the industry as well as, in the household users’ survey, age and education level. </p> <p>The stakeholder groups surveyed are noted below, these being the key EEE supply chain actors. Exit poll survey data from users of Helsinki University Library
<p>Survey data from exit poll user surveys at five Helsinki University Library locations collected from 2015 to 2016. Patrons coming out the library premises were asked about their user category (student at the University of Helsinki, researcher or lecturer, student at another institution, other library user) and the reason for their library visit. Also the duration of the visit was noted and wether they needed help during their stay at the library. The file contains 3084 rows of tabular data in CSV format. The language is Finnish.</p>
Survey Results - User Accuracy Effects on Algorithmic Accuracy
<p>The survey was hosted on Qualtrics and participants recruited via Cloud Research. Participants are US-only. The data includes those who did not finish. No PII data was collected. </p><p>The survey included a deception scenario for a mortgage application followed by a battery of questions to assess ratings of the algorithm, assess participant honesty, and assess algorithmic awareness.</p>

<div>This survey is being conducted by Eachtra Archaeological Projects as part of INCULTUM (2021-2024), a tourism-oriented HORIZON2020 funded project. Results of survey to potential users of repositories of European Poetry on the informational needs
<p>This excel file presents the results of a survey to potential final users of digital repertoires of the European Poetry in order to understand their information needs. This file also presents results of the analysis to the survey: answers to the specific needs of the results - in black if the domain model responds to the needs; green if a new element to the domain is added due to the result.</p> <p>This survey was done in the context of the definition of a domain model for the european poetry. WP4 Fablabs.io User Survey
<p>The purpose of this research study is to understand better the Fablabs.io users and how the platform could be improved for them. <a href="https://www.fablabs.io/">Fablabs.io</a> is the online social network of the international Fab Lab community and the current official list of Fab Labs that share same principles, tools, and philosophy around the future of technology and its role in society. Survey questionnaire and results on user needs for energy models for the European energy transition, related to Süsser et al. (2021)
<p>The online survey was designed and conducted in the framework of the EU H2020 project SENTINEL in collaboration with the project openENTRANCE. The aim of the survey was to identify needs by modellers and model result users across Europe for energy modelling. We developed it as an explorative, semi-quantitative, self-completion online questionnaire, using the online tool “LimeSurvey”. We performed the online survey among different stakeholders from academia, policy, NGO’s and energy industry. </p> <p>The study by Süsser <em>et al.</em> (2021) investigates the differences between energy model improvements and adjustments as perceived by modellers, and the actual needs of users of model results. Franks Tract User Survey map-based responses
This data includes point, line, and polygon map-based responses to the Franks Tract public user survey administered by UC Davis researchers for the Franks Tract Futures project.
