When to use
- Cold room planning
- HVAC conversations
- Multi-freezer installs
Estimate total kWh/day, BTU/hr, and watts from refrigerators, freezers, and ULT units in one room.

Load example Freezer Room Heat Load Calculator data to see the full workflow
Low to moderate heat load for a typical equipment room.
When to use
Do not use for
Freezers remove heat from samples and reject it into the room.
Warm rooms, shared access, and dirty filters can push actual heat higher than nominal values.
Equipment rows are multiplied by daily kWh and summed. Heat load uses 1 kWh = 3412 BTU distributed over 24 hours, and watts are daily Wh divided by 24 hours.
