<p>This is the permanent repository for movies referred to in Appendix B of <em>Magnetic Origins of Cool Plasma in the Sun's Corona.</em></p> <p>Movie.mp4 shows all three RNPTs from Chapter 2, using SDO AIA 171 & 304 Å imagery:</p> <ul> <li>Event 1 is shown for 3 hours</li> <li>Event 2 is shown for 18.5 hours</li> <li>Event 3 is shown thrice: <ul> <li>On the east limb of the Sun, for 15 hours</li> <li>On the west limb two weeks later, for 15 hours</li> <li>On the east limb two weeks after that, for 5 hours</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><em>HYDRAD Simulations</em></p> <p>There are two tarballs, dome_loop_sims.tar for the dome loops and uniform_loop_sims.tar for the uniform cross-section loop. The naming conventions for the movies work as follows:</p> <ul> <li>press_vel = pressure and velocity movie</li> <li>temp_dens = temperature and density movie</li> <li>hsh = heating scale height in cm</li> <li>hr = heating rate in erg cm<sup>-3</sup> s<sup>-1</sup></li> <li>f = LRR</li> </ul>
