Former precipitation data of totalizer gauges in Wägital catchment, 1927-1952

<p>During the years 1927-1952, a very dense station network of 30 totalizer gauges<br> was maintained in the W&auml;gital catchment. This dataset consists of precipitation<br> readings of the hydrological year taken from unpublished reports of<br> AG Kraftwerk W&auml;gital (&quot;Betriebsdaten&quot; reports).<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>After the year 1952, collection of these data were stopped with the exception of<br> the 5 totalizers Seeende/Hundsloch [3336/T4], Blattli/Oberhof [3338/T3],<br> Rohr [3339/T6], Unter Alten [3352/T24] and R&ouml;tstock [3382/T34]. These totalizers<br> are still in service, see dataset <a href="https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.1409535">https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.1409535</a>.</p> <p>Data are tested for correct acquisition, but are taken literally from the<br> reports without further data processing.</p> <p>Metadata are taken from external sources, see file metadata.txt for details.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>For details on the W&auml;gital station network see <a href="https://www.meteodat.ch/tots_waegital.html">https://www.meteodat.ch/tots_waegital.html</a>.</p>
